See...the point is the Rays pitching SUCKS beyond belief. This is not that bad of a team.  They had 18 hits and 11 runs in a game started by Randy Johnson, that would be more than enough for 99% of MLB teams. Except the Rays with their miserable staff. If Stu is able to take over this team and possibly spend some money on pitchers (Burnett, Tomko, etc...) to possibly give this team some chance....then the Rays will be dangerous. They have more than enough potential on offense (with lots more to come...Upton, Young, Baldelli when he's back).

The Yankees are our bítches ..........  and mul had a great statistic up there about holding leads after 5 innings. The Rays aren't THAT freaking bad of a team. It's the **** middle relief .......

nice bounce back win today!  I'm back on the bandwagon!  On a side note, Baez has become a scarier closer than Roberto Hernandez, but they were both a lot better than Estaban "gets bombed" Yan.

GO RAYS!!

Roberto Hernandez was a pretty good closer who was in the later stages of his career...too bad the starting pitching could never get the team into the 8th inning with a lead.

can't blame steroids

juiced ball and bad pitching seems like the culprit

steroids?  when was steroids mentioned on this thread?  This isn't about Baroid cheating or Big Mac juicing up... it is about the Rays and how bad they suck and yet can still whip the yankees.
