CoolBull1 Posted June 8, 2005 Group: Member Topic Count: 104 Content Count: 1,433 Reputation: 1 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/04/2004 Author Share Posted June 8, 2005 I need to know if there's a deal for the students.  Having raised my son right, he will be a FreshBull in the fall.  I'll be taking him, but if I can get him there a little cheaper, I'll do it.  If I can get a break on a ticket, I'll do that too.  Anybody know anything about that?  Playing the role of a student who's about to become a "serious student" for at least the first few weeks...he was all concerned about having a flight late enough to not miss class!  They all change so fast when they get there, huh? PSU_Nut Posted June 8, 2005 Group: Member Topic Count: 2 Content Count: 64 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 08/25/2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 1. tickets will be redily available in the parking lot or through our ticket office if you can not get them from USF.  If you buy in the parking lot ou will not pay more then face value of $48. 2.  Get your hotel now.  Some may still be available in SC but they will fill up fast.  If your flying here my recomendation of airports and alternative place to stay if SC is filled. 1. State College.  Altoona only a 40 min drive on game day. 2. Harrisburg. Stay in harrisburg and it will only be a 2 hr drive if you leave early (7am for 12 kickoff) or 2:30-3:00 if you leave later. 3. Baltimore.  Stay in harrisburg.  Only about 1:15 to harrisburg from BWI. 4. Pittsburgh 4hr drive to State College on game day from the airport and about 3hrs to Altoona 5. If you're going to go that route, allow extra time, because driving in and out of that place is one of the most confusing things I've ever done.Thanks for the info, PSU Nut.
