Another interesting tidbit had UCF hosting a regional after winning the regular season AAC title. It did mention that either USF or Houston could grab that hosting position if either team won the AAC Tourney and UCF falters. Because we are playing ECU a win is only worth 12 RPI points. So, not only do we need to keep winning, but we could use some additional help by other teams losing. How much, depends on the RPI of the teams we beat and the RPI of the teams around us, Today, for example, UCF went from RPI #23 to RPI #21, not only because they won, but also because Baylor, then RPI #18, lost and fell to RPI #23.
