- Kicker Emilio Nadelman (Miami) continues to make progress since suffering leg injury against Navy. “He’s getting better, slowly but surely,” Taggart said. USF’s fourth-year head coach is hopeful Nadelman will be ready for Memphis. “I’ll know more later this week,” Taggart added.

- Taggart is happy to have Devin Abraham (Tarpon Springs) healthy enough to play this week after the junior safety had a surgical procedure done on his thumb. “He got the pins taken out of his hand,” Taggart said. “He practiced last week and he’ll be ready to go.”
