USF WBB Preseason Ranked #26 in Coaches Poll

Wow, this one blew me away. http://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/rankings 

We are going to be good, because we are always good. But, this is higher than I expected. I am guessing this is mostly based on the reputation we have as a program and not a deep look at our team (since we have so many new players). 

Lets hope we are a top 26 team, but even if we aren't, I'm looking forward to another great season.

That was last years ranking.  Considering our leading scorer graduated and moved on to the WNBA, it's not surprising.  26 is more surprising than 34 considering that, although we've recruited well, there will be several new players

USF WBB is emerging as a consistent tournament team. We've been good for the 1st or 2nd round of the tournament, if not a few rounds into the NIT. Makes sense to get some votes like this.

Sorry I wasn't clear I was meaning the drop.  The rankings were current, #21 is where we finished last year explaining the "drop"

Plus, we lost our best scorer AND our best rebounder, so I agree this is a pretty nice nod to the program.
