I feel bad this Pastner last year. Good guy just not meant for this program

I was curious what the pulse of the Memphis fan base is like when it came to recent basketball

Memphis should be a top 15 team most years.  They have much talent there and local kids support want to go there.  The issue is that when you get local kids, you must keep them focused as they have tons of their friends in their ear all the time.  Memphis needs like a Frank Martin guy to be strong again.

Only one Memphis visitor. Man, we've fallen on some hard times again. I remember the good ole' days when we were playing .500 basketball and we gave SJ Conway fits about how we were going to invade the hotel where the Memphis players stayed. He would then call Coach Cal to save his beloved Tigers. Oh, the good ole' days...
