  1. Sad.. and happy for him at the same time.
  2. I don't think they matter but I would say its not the end all be all. Our recruiting classes are no where near UF or FSU but some how we are a better team than they were this year. Wether thats because of Coaching, Scheme or players or a combination of all. Or even recruiting rating bias. Im on the side of its a combination of all of those this year. I don't start getting excited about anyone until I see them play. Some of our starters/rotation players were some of the lowest rated. Nico Sawtell, Jaymon Thomas, Bruce Hector, Auggie, Juwan Brown, Tice, Kegler, Pinkney. Were all some of the lowest rated recruits we have. In fact weve been so consistent with our lower rated recruits that I now keep a close eye on who they are. Which bodes well for Grier, Copeland and Ford this class. I bet one of them or more turn out good for us.
  3. IDK but for now we can speculate. During the season McGhee was getting the most burn at S along with Jaymon Thomas so the safety positions were locked up for '18. At CB we got Mazzi, Hoggins, Hampton and Even Naytron were playing more. So im guessing he couldn't crack the Starting line up and he wanted out.
  4. I believe this next season would be his redshirt sophomore year
  5. Another schollie? Idk what happend but the one thing I have trust with CCS and BJM cause they made our defense look better than it was. So wether he wanted to play for some one else or he couldn’t crack the starting line up. I wish craig the best. Wish the local guys would pan out though
  6. Im kind of torn. This year were scheduled to take a step back, but the 2019 season is a season we can really make some noise. We play Wisconsin and GT right of the bat and I don't want the guys learning a new offense then so if Gilbert leaves I want him to do it this year and not next.
  7. **** near perfect explanation. Im not a complainer but we scored all those points in spite of Gilbert not because of him. Idk maybe he performs better because he has more of a pocket passer QB but I disagree with a previous poster. The Houston game was 1million percent on him. We were running up the middle all game against an All American DT and then wondered why It didn't work. We should have killed Houston they had no business hanging in the game that long and when a team sticks around like that when you don't step on their throats it has a funny way of biting you in the rear. If he leaves I won't be mad but I am curious to see his offense post Flowers.
  8. Seriously only way to fix this is to have our graduates have those jobs. I won't pretend to know if we have journalism as one of our majors but with the size of the school you would think we would have a good stranglehold of the job market in the Tampa area.
  9. After some time in JC he has now committed to play for Rutger per his twitter feed
  10. Thanks for the well wishes now you guys do your part ..
