  1. That's fair, but our tradition is losing. I like winning. Win first and create new winning traditions. It's okay for throwbacks here and there but there's nothing wrong with wearing the jerseys today's players want to wear if they're the ones playing the game and winning for their school.

  3. Up to +162 on FanDuel. Interesting to see that even with the #25 next to our name, Vegas STILL gives the Bulls no respek. I’ll take their money, thank you
  4. Ut Oh, @CousinKaren woke up! People on this forum recommended attending Bulls football games for years and no one ever sued Brad for that waste of money!
  5. I got the Bulls ML on FanDuel on a regular bet at +150 and another with a parlay booster at +154.
  6. We got a good one, guys. In retrospect to the season, there isn't anything he said that was coach speak fluff. He is a MAN of his word. Go Bulls!
  7. Contact Governor DeSantis, he may know a guy who can help.
  8. Who knows, maybe if Brian Gregory, Skippy, Charlie Strong and Jeff Scott gave glory to the Most High, they may have won a few more games. I'm all for it, let the man be himself and praise and honor who he chooses. Anyone who has a problem with it can go watch CBG's, CSH's, CCS's, or CJS's teams instead.
  9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's basketball coach.
  10. Or die first.. I'll bet lot of them are old people who just like to get out of the house to see what the youngsters are doing these days
  11. Monday February 26th - probably 0 games directly affecting our ranking. Only Ranked Teams playing today: #9 UNC home vs. Miami #15 Baylor at TCU
  12. Bubble Watch 2024: Brace yourself for NCAA tournament drama - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM The Bulls are ranked in the AP Top 25 for the first time in program history. They're also not (currently) in Bubble Watch. Two things can be true at once.
  13. We've gotten to the Top 25, now let's close this season out and win the conference baby!
  14. I fully understood that, but was also slightly fearful it wasn't. I was just chiming in because there really are people out there who just don't understand why we have our name and give crap about it lol.
  15. If we were named The University of Tampa, we'd get hassled about being in Temple Terrace. If we were named Tampa Bay State or Tampa Bay University, we'd get hassled about being no where near the bay of Tampa or stealing UT's name. We are the most southern university out of West Florida, North Florida, and Central Florida. Should we be West Florida? No because that's in the panhandle in Pensacola. What direction is Tampa within the state (without getting ridiculous -- i.e. "West Central", "Central West", "West, but not Pensacola West", "Central but not the actual Center", "South but not the very bottom") if we include the panhandle in directional names to mean West? WE. ARE. SOUTH. FLORIDA.
  16. Besides Seth and Willie, who else left us behind for better opportunities, leaving us in a worse situation? We've fired everyone else. An analogy for this is relationships. We've been dating all of these coaches we've had. We mostly break up with them because we always thought we deserved better. Now that we're in a solid relationship and things are going well, we're not confident enough in ourselves and what we can bring to the table to know we deserve the girl. We lack such confidence to believe that anyone would want to stay with us for the long haul and wake up everyday worrying she is going to leave us for the next rich guy with a nice car. We deserve to have the 10, we need to start acting like it and stop being so afraid of being alone. For some reason, we have this undeserved PTSD of being abandon, when in reality, it's not really happened with the exception of Willie, really...
  17. Willie worked out great for us. He did go the route of seeking the bigger paycheck and chasing his own ambitions. Not everyone is destined to be at the top of the ladder, but some can be. I hope CAAR doesn’t follow the same route for our own selfish goals. However, simply because CWT wasn’t successful doesn’t mean everyone who takes his path of success won’t be. Also, CWT clearly isn’t the kind of guy you bring in and has success in his 1st season which larger programs demand (here we’re also talking football vs basketball programs and the ability for quick turnarounds). He made the same path at WKU and USF, it takes him 3-4 years to get his kind of thing going. I believe he lost his mojo when he landed at FAU, maybe a broken ego. The rest is history, his now enlarged net worth, and his coaching in the NFL.
  18. It's not about any particular win. It's about the overall body of work. We've been a program for a long time now and anyone who knows USF basketball would see we haven't had success (besides 2012) in a long time, but really 2012 was also a long time ago. It's about a guy who took a 1 win team at Kennesaw in his 1st season being able to go to the tournament in his 4th. That man came to South Florida to a team with no recent success and he is on the verge of having major success again with another team in just 1 season. When you're a program with money but no recent success like many programs out there, you look for a coach who shows promise/ potential based on his results and who the man is as a person. This is a great man we have leading our program and any program around the country would be so lucky to have him as their head coach. Just because his pre-made schedule this season didn't provide him with the opportunity to beat Duke (yet...tournament?), a very high percentage of coaches out there would not be able to do what he made happen here this season. Coach Gregory was her for enough seasons to prove that he certainly wasn't getting it done. A more prominent school doesn't need to see any one big win to see what kind of coach CAAR is and what he can bring to their program if he had their players, their tradition, their conference, their money, their facilities. He has shown the ability to duplicate his success and that's worth the risk to a flailing program out there who has resources but just needs the right man to utilize those resources.
  19. I hope we’re not the 0.6. It’ll be difficult to win any games with only 3 players in the starting lineup.
