I don't think that's an issue. The focus comes back when "tomorrow is game day". They need a rest. Football plays 1x a week and no one seems to think anyone will lose focus. It's about keeping their bodies healthy and refreshed as we wrap things up.

Like what was said earlier, sometimes you have to give credit to the defense of the other team. They're doing a good job of fouling him and he's making the least contribution he possible can, making 6 shots from the wide open, undefended free throw line. I gave him credit for accomplishing the bare minimum. He's not been as much of a liability today but is still not an offensive contributor to the level I'd expect from the position. Yes, he has hit his uncontested FREE throws.

What made last Sunday's noon game more popular than this one? 1. Florida Atlantic University -> in-state game with some USF students from the Southeastern region of Florida. 2. FAU had a #24 next to their name. 3. Secured 1st place in the conference. 4. Perhaps some better marketing occurred last week. 5. More FAU fans in the crowd than SMU fans this week? 6. Intangibles. Any other reasons anyone can think of or any pushback on my reasons?

You can't "cut him some slack" when there are only 5 players on the court at any given time. He needs to be at the top of his game or working his way back to 100% in practice, not during the game. He's been a liability.
