Well, assuming we beat SMU and they don't win the conference tourney, they'll have at least 10 losses. I don't think they're getting into the tournament from the AAC with 10 losses. In this scenario, we'd be the other team with FAU for the AAC to have 2 teams in. This assumes everyone wins out except our win over SMU and their conference tourney loss, and we win the tournament. If we don't win, theres a tiny chance we get in if we lose a very close game to FAU in the championship.

Well, in fairness to SMU, we don't know if we want them or FAU as the #2 seed. SMU might wipe the floor with us. We'll know on Sunday.

Are you insinuating that Jose Placer or any of the USF players are points shavers because they had a tough game in what MANY would consider a trap game? Their friends can bet all they want, just like every other person in eligible areas can. But you think a college player on a lower tier team who has never shown one iota of a lack of integrity is risking everything including his pride and integrity for his "friends" to win a few bucks? If you think that he risked the game by missing 1 FT, I have an insane asylum to admit you to. Not everything is a conspiracy, sometimes adrenaline, nerves, and just bad luck come into play and cause 18-22 year old players to miss shots. When someone shoots 84.6% from the FT line, that means of 100 shots taken, they'll miss 15.4 shots. Sometimes in averages, those misses can come in bunches, sometimes they occur sparingly. But the misses will occur, even if it's inconvenient for you. How about we don't accuse, without real evidence, our Bulls of cheating. Thanks.

Thursday Feb 22nd -- 2 Games #21/22 Washington State on the road vs #4 Arizona -- 11 PM Eastern -> Root for Arizona <- #27/26 Gonzaga on the road vs unranked Portland -- 9 PM Eastern -> Root for Portland <-

#24 Florida lost in overtime on the road to #13 Alabama. I don't know if that warrants them being ranked below us, who barely got past the worst team in the AAC. They'll probably be receiving more votes than us still. #22 Colorado State lost on the road to New Mexico. NM was receiving votes in this week's AP poll. #16 Dayton lost to unranked George Mason on the road. They won't fall out of the Top 25 but will drop into the 20s. #12 Illinois lost to unranked Penn State on the road. They won't fall out of the Top 25 but will drop.

#17 Kentucky lost to an unranked LSU on the road. Not sure it'll drop them out of the Top 25 even though they are now 18-8 overall, because ya know, they're Kentucky.. They SHOULD drop out, but we'll see what happens. Their next game is against #13 Alabama at home on 2/24. If they lose again, they most definitely fall out of the Top 25 by Monday's polls. If they win Saturday, they won't.

I was worried about a let down game where we barely pulled off a win against a team we should beat by 20, that's why I picked us to win by the smallest margin (4 points) of everyone on TBP who made picks and took the moneyline instead of a spread or over pick.

The Charlotte game is only "absolutely HUGE" if we lose to SMU first. Charlotte lost tonight to give them 3 conference losses. If we beat SMU, a loss to Charlotte only gives us 2 conference losses (assuming we win the other games).
