The reality is fans don't want to pay $60 to sit on the visitor sideline against a team they dont recognize. The reality is that's where the camera points when we play. The reality is out of market fans don't see our stampede or the home sideline or hear the chants. They see an empty visiting sideline.

I think you're on the right track. The factor is by lowering season tix prices you up your retention rate for the next 2-4 years. And lord knows we need it. If we are drawing 17k for a Thursday game this year, what do you think we draw next season? Sure you may need to sell 20k more tix to breakeven this year, but isn't our mission for the long term? You can preach economics when your supply and demand isn't displayed on national television. Especially when this display determines how the country views your product. The prices shouldve been lowered this season.

I'm not pleased about the efficency of the offense last night. It's worth mentioning that Charlie was mixing in depth at LB in the first quarter. As soon as I saw that, I immediately had a feeling we were going to play fairly conservative on offense. I understand we took some shots, but that offense looked much different than the one that showed up against Illinois.
