  1. You're crazy. We have to save some of those plays for 2018
  2. I watched our D a lot last year trying to figure out why they were so bad. The main thing I noticed from the TV view was we were running "bus stop" where the DE were told not to get up field. Generally, this is used against running QBs so the DEs don't create lanes for the QB to scramble. Now that we seem to have turn our DEs lose, you can see that our lack of pressure last year wasn't due to lack of talent, just awful awful scheme.
  3. Not only was it a push, Sherrifs was starting to turn and run in the direction of VJ. Being that he was about to run a route, it shouldn't have even been roughing the passer nonetheless targeting
  4. Sawtelle lol. You have to know that's a screen. No one is letting you through that free
  5. Just now? Welcome to the group. There's beer in the fridge. You'll need one
  6. Sterlin Gilbert just threw his challenge flag on the field. He thinks this motion is a false start
  7. There's 0 reason to have a RB on the field on 3rd and 10. 4 WR and a TE and spread it out. You're doing the defense a favor when you only have 3 guys running routes then they can spy on QF
  8. Red zone needs to be jet sweep territory. Stop puckering up when you get in the red zone
  9. We had 55 rushing attempts. 6-7 of those catches were on hitches or stops. Offense so Vanilla you'd think Rob Van Winkle was calling plays
  10. Any throw between the hashes would be considered a trick play at this point
  11. How do you figure? Kano and Wilcox were the starters. RA was normally catching the bubbles/running the jet sweeps and wasn't a particularly great blocker on his own. The difference to me comes down to 2 things: 1. Aggression and attitude 2. The TE being in the backfield rather than split wide and cracking
  12. It doesn't matter where they were ranked when you beat them, it matters where they are when the dust settles
  13. IF we win out and UCF is undefeated when we play them, I can't see them staying above us. Especially with the way they played against UCF
  14. Execution could absolutely be better. As could playcalling. Have to do a better job of getting into a rhythm early and then being aggressive once that is established.
  15. Production wise, no doubt. Hopefully they can find a rhythm between him and Kano because those guys are too talented to simply turn into in-line blockers.
