  1. BJ Daniels is driving the field right now on the replay on NFL Network.
  2. Yeah, he was doing good blocking and running routes, but that missed catch cost him big time.
  3. Yoda is at it again...I don't have twitter or I would've responded to him. Tuxedo Yoda @TuxedoYoda If the networks do force the Big 12 to take Cinci and one Florida school, UCF makes the most sense. 7:39am - 14 Jul 13
  4. Of course, the 1st hit in the game comes right after they put her back in. Lol.
  5. Nevins' back in the game after 1 out in the top of the 7th. She will face the top of the lineup.
  6. Come on man, that answer is an easy one We'll probably have 5 in the Louisville game alone. I'll be surprised to see any shot get attempted before at least 30 seconds have went off the shot clock LOL....I know it is an easy one. But, there is no excuse for not getting the ball off in time. Even if it's in the last 2 seconds of the shot clock.
  7. Good -More fans then I expected to be at the game at 8pm on a Wednesday -Anthony Collins... Bad -Refs had no clue what they were doing half the game -We used all 5 of our timeouts too early in the 2nd period -The players seemed sluggish all game Ugly -Anthony Collins is the only player that can drive with defenders on him. He scored most of the points in the paint and he is the shortest guy on the court. smh -Rudd and Fitz need to man up down low sometimes, especially when we are down 14 with 7 minutes to go and in the bonus. The bonus should be used to exploit their defense (draw fouls while stopping the clock). We need to use it to our advantage. But, when our guys try to take it up they always lean back and try to fade away, instead of taking an inside step and taking it up strong below the basket. They WILL get fouled or make the shot 80% of the time. (see ochefu on villanova) -5 shot clock violations in the last 2 games...why are we running down the shot clock on offense when we are down by 12+ points almost the entire game??
  8. I'll agree with BullsOnThaRize about the style of play. I'll take any type of play if it means a winning program that gets recognized regionally and then nationally.
  9. That short ref with the grey hair was horrible. He shouldn't be allowed to ref anymore.
  10. Details...details... Roster from the TCU athletic site: http://gofrogs.cstv....footbl-mtt.html
  11. Disregard.... Double posted by accident and don't know how to delete it.
  12. Thanks for the info! I've been wondering when we would see on the court. I know we could use the depth in bigger games...
  13. +1. Gotta attack the ball of the glass. -2 Uptempo is more then just pushing the ball after rebounds. True uptempo actually starts with defense. When you had the speed advantage drastically in your favor last night that screams getting out and pressuring the ball. It doesn't have to be insane traps all over the place, but extending your defense to force the action. USF did that 1 time last night and got a steal that led to an and 1. Also playing uptempo gets guys like Victor Rudd, Brock, and Hawkins going on the offensive end by speeding them up. I know it works because Stan has done that before and admitted that was the reason. You can overcome the rebound disadvantage by forcing the other team into making more mistakes. Once again a known fact. Very true ... and after watching all 3 games this weekend they do push when they have a legit chance. Problem they had yesterday, and to a smaller degree against UCF, they had open shots/lay ups that just wouldn't fall at key points in the game. I have last night's game recorded. IF you do as well then go back and watch it again. All you would need is 1 hand with some fingers missing to count the times they actually got into real transition when they got the rebound. Either the PF would hold the ball to long allowing WMU to get down court to set up, or 4 guys would sprint down the court but the PG would casually jog to the offensive end. Once again allowing WMU to set up on defense. You are absolutely correct, Vega. Also, I noticed that they take a lot of shots without anyone below the rim to possibly grab the offensive rebound and they don't follow their shots very well. I know we are getting out muscled on the post, but some of the fundamentals of rebounding aren't being used consistently either.
  14. This is where a lack of vision by Judy and Doug will iltimately doom the football program. Asinine to think they aren't trying to get something better for USF Maybe that is why he wasn't at the basketball game today. He may not have been there for the whole game but he was there .... Doug was at the bball game and the soccer game and he was all smiles.
  15. We'll have a QB tall enough to see over the middle for the first time in like 6 years....maybe that will change things up I don't know why everyone thinks Floyd is so tall. He's listed as 6'1", same as BJ (6/6'1"). Eveld is the tall one. As a student who sees Floyd and BJ on campus all the time (even played beach volleyball with Floyd once lol) I can tell you that Floyd is MUCH taller than BJD I agree that listings and the truth are two different things. I'm 6'1" and have walked past BJ a few times. He had to be 2" shorter then I am.
  16. The presidents of Big East schools are expected to approve a two-division format Tuesday for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Sources told ESPN that for the purposes of football, the conference will be divided into a western division of Boise State, Houston, Memphis, San Diego State, SMU and Temple, and an eastern division of Central Florida, Cincinnati, UConn, Louisville, Rutgers and South Florida. All of the schools were pretty clear-cut as to which belonged in the western or eastern division, except Temple, which, pending approval, will be placed in the western division. Earlier reports called for the divisions to be called Red and Blue, instead of being named geographically, but that is now unclear, sources said. 17. I could've sworn Holtz said we were signing 2 RB's and 2 QB's in this class. Where are they? Lol... I was at that bball game on Saturday and it was pretty embarrassing. I couldn't even say anything to the UCF fans because we were getting beat in every aspect of the game. I'm not too worried about bball, because we have a lot of changes going on and the players need the time to gel. But, football is getting out of hand. I am anxious to see what changes occur in the offseason. With that said, I'll still be attending every home bball and football game. Go Bulls!
  18. I saw that as well. They also mentioned how we have talented players on our team and the coaches haven't been able to do what they need to with them. Then again, this is all based on "the ESPN experts" opinions.
  19. 1) USF 2) 24-20 3) BJ 4) Mitchell 5) 319 Bulls get their 1st INT of the season.
  20. I got my season tickets tonight, as well. Now, I'm a proud football and basketball season ticket holder!
