  1. Pretty sure that's a quote from Yoda. One of the great mysteries of the universe... Dumbledore can't hold Yoda's jock.
  2. So I should pack up my grill? I'm going to be the only one here in the parking lot all morning?
  3. @TuxedoYoda My sources are telling me Floyd gets the start again today for USF and Big 12 representatives will be in attendence. Why the fake tweet in a serious thread? My apologies Mr. and Mrs. Eveld. Your son will do just fine today.

  5. Everytime I see your name, all I can think is,"...we're pretty much a big pile of #2 right now."
  6. We have an excellent chance of getting him to verbally commit for a couple weeks/months.
  7. Pretty sure the white helmets debuted in the St. Pete Bowl.
  8. 3/4 USF QB commits agree with this statement.
  9. This whole thread is about him being captain, not starting QB. If you agree that he can be captain, what the hell are you arguing about?
  10. Well, your analogy proves the statement above it. Kudos. Floyd can be a captain and not be the starting QB.
  11. Gotta love the surrender flag combo after last week.
  12. Haha. Yeah, that would look awesome. Having CWT let the kids vote for who they believe is a team leader, then overruling their choice. That's a great way to build trust.
  13. We wouldn't need to finance anything... last season USF brought in $600 million in donations, which adds to the billion or so they have in the bank. We have the $$. Those donations were for a variety of areas. Don't you think that if we had $200 - $300 million available to us for a stadium, we wouldn't jump on it? If we didn't have to finance any of it, then yes, you're correct, it would be better than what we currently have.Well we can borrow the money from ourselves... USF has done this before. I know they have and was told that they do it from time to time on special projects, as long as they can pay it back. They borrow the funds from themselves to pay for a capital project and then repay it over X amount of fiscal years. That X in your equation is about 50 years, at best. Not happening. We collected $600 million in one year... we can do it again, especially with sponsorships and such. The Unstoppable Campaign you're referring to started when you were in elementary school. So it was $600+ million in 8 years. You just missed on the facts for that one. The campaign, publicly launched in October of 2009... So that's 4 years. Read up on it.. Apparently they had a first "quiet" phase beginning in 2005.. However they didn't kick off the big public push until 2009. That's when the big money started pouring in, $111 million in 2010-11 alone. So, 8 years.

  16. When we open our new stadium a few years from now, I hope we wear the white helmets.

  18. But every USF player does get a trophy...it just might not have your name spelled right.
  19. I agree its not pressing, but lets cut the turd here... UF gets $2.5 million a game in revenue when they play a cup cake... I bet we don't get $2.5 million a season playing at RayJay. I bet we don't either. This is a hard hitting thread you've got going, keep up the research.
  20. I used to bet against USF in big games since it ends up being a win-win. If we win the game, I paid $50 or so to ensure a victory. We lose, and I get a fistful of cash to ease the pain.
  21. And yes, it has been discussed. http://thebullspen.com/index.php/topic/92783-captain-floyd/
  22. What if its the underclassman that are the quitters?
  23. I'm still trying to cope with the fact that it wasn't too long ago I was optimistic we'd win a game like this, now I'm praying we cover the spread.
