    Luckily, it will be after they lose to LSU. I still believe it doesn't matter at this point. Not much to coach up that is going to change next year during this time period. But, you may be right if we lose to BCC. Then I will never question you again lol.

    I believe we got the best possible scenario for success. Does that mean it will come to fruition? Nope, but I'll take my chances with a championship coach from arguably the best program in the nation. He sure as hell better be able to lead the staff (remotley) he hired in his absence...

    Man, such a fun game and year! I remember being in Talledega the week before the Rutgers game and talking so much crap to all the SEC folks. Haha it was a blast.

    Good ole CJL finds his way into every thread. I'm starting to wonder is he has an account on here. Can't win them all but our HC is coming from the P5 so that has to count for something.

    Did I miss something with Holtz? How many national championship games did Skip Holtz coach in? And I dont mean that ******** kind of championship that UCF claims. I agree that it's LSU year but not sure how this has anything to do with Skippy.

    Hell yea. Our coach is headed to his 3rd championship in 4 years if IIRC. Too lazy to google. This HC feels MUCH different than the last bum we had.

    I was being sarcastic and forgot to followup with another post. In all seriousness, the CJL days wer A LOT of fun. Especially, attending games in person. That being said, probably the minority on this but glad we didn't hire him and don't really care what he thinks, where he goes, or his future endeavors.

    Here we go again. More P5 talk when we can't do **** in P6 (sorry G5)... Had a really good conversation with a UCF "buddy" about this. His perspective was spot on... We got kicked off the mountain and now all we can do is look backward while they have never seen the top of that mountain. So that being said, they are at the highest of highs right now and we are dwelling on ******** from the past. Dumbest F'ing thing in the world is to think we belong in the P5 right now. Maybe if we can win a championship but even then we need to show some consistency.

    9 months... what do you mean? We will know everything after the spring game and will most definitely be on pace for an undefeated season!

    Good luck to them all but also good riddance! Start fresh and build up a staff that you can hand the team to when you leave for P5 knowing that your philosophies should be similar. Also, we all knew with or without coaches we are gonna suck next year. A couple of transfers and all you doom and bloomers will be saying we will be undefeated again...

    I would assume we will know within the next week or two. If CKB returns, everone on this board will lose their minds including myself.

    I was reluctant to say the same thing. I hate to say anything negative about these kids but he has some work to do. I hope he busts his ass this offseason and shuts us all up next year.

    I like the optimism but we will get destroyed. Maybe if we get a QB in we will have a chance but not with our current roster.
