    This conversation seems to always come up and I cant understand why. Not sure if yall are serious or not. We don't deserve to be in P5 if we cant win where we are at. Hell, the BE days are long gone. I get it, it sucks going from P5 to **** but that's the cards we were dealt. If a P5 comes for AAC teams, I promise you we wont be on the list.

    Agreed if we are talking about him getting no P5 offers. However, arkansas/ole miss offered and he rebuilds them to a national champ. He would be a god. Forever. A serious long shot but hey why not take the shot.

    Well... that's a ****** model lol. I get it for proven coaches in higher profile gigs. Similar to how executives will get severance, etc. But to pay someone whether they succeed or fail is BS.

    I get it but how does the University benefit from the one sided contract. You would think they would start shifting the business model over time.

    Good point. Definitely don't want regulation but you would think some ADs would start to change the norm. Especially, outside of P5.

    Makes sense to me Kiffin is a Sabanite that humbled himself by taking a lower tier HC gig. I can only assume he did this because he knew he tarnished his reputation. Granted he can be a head case but you have to admire the fact he realized this. Cant answer your question but with his resume of being under Saban he will most certainly get P5 offers.

    If any of our coaching options get any P5 HC offer you can cross them off the list. P5 money and rewarded if you fail with a buyout... So yes, he is probably P5 bound and would be dumb to come here.
