    If a big-name school comes calling, and Taggart is in the seat, I think he will know the downsides of that versus some other guy, who may jump. I agree Taggart may not be a lifer, but if we can structure a deal that makes sense, I believe he will stay with us a long time and have some real passion for USF and the community.

    Approved. What people dont understand every SINGLE coach will have an issue or two. Willie has some play call issues. Do people think these other coaches would be these perfect godsends? He WANTS to be here and if we can get a deal that puts his money where his mouth is I say lets do it.

    Trying to do my part. I can prob give more but I'm starting small. Always given sporadically, and qualified at the entry level, but making the commitment here AND will have my employer match each month. Anyone else? Edit: this is to the Bulls Club, 500020, the most flexible and what Athletics would tell you highest priority. It's my understanding they can take from this pool at their discretion for facilities.

    I'm of the opinion that we work him 100 hours a week to get our money's worth if we can't fire him. Anything and everything that needs to be done around the athletic center...

    Well its almost 1. If kelly was gonna do anything (beuller...) he would have by now. Here's hoping I wake up to some good news. Or at least a sign of life from our VP or whatever he is.

    Keeping him means losing your die hards, plus a generation of students, plus having your undisciplined team publicly ridiculed (or worse, creating PR issues for the university)... all long term costs too.

    I'm so upset I can't even put together a cohesive thought. Frustration, disappointment, confusion as to what to do next, afraid of being suckered again. I don't even care about this game or season or Disneys Bounce House Circus. I'm legit worried about the basic viability and management of our athletics program. Close it and continue to focus on academics?

    Kelly is hurting the program by NOT issuing a statement right now. Change my mind. He needs to reassure the fanbase of what kind of program he intends to run and how this season plays into that. Being silent isnt being silent anymore. Its tacit support and comfort with current direction. Silence is complacency. Make a simple statement, Kelly.
