    There is literally nothing CJS has to do with what has happened in the past. All I know is that today, 10/31/2020, he seems to be the right guy. We have to stop blaming the past or getting exasperated about what hasn't happened yet or where we are. If we are a program where no positive statement is welcome, no leadership is welcome, because it's not fair where we are, or he just doesn't get it, or we are tired of losing, we will never get back up. He is trying to move on, get better, and offer leadership. I won't tell other TBP members what to do, but I know I personally am on board. The only thing worse than losing year in and year out is moping about it rather than having hope and supporting a man who is trying to do something about it.

    The negativity here is understandable but excessive. If Jeff just gets *some* bay area talent to stick around we won't be world beaters but we will get off the floor. And if Jeff Scott is a half decent coach we will do more than get off the floor. I know it FEELS like this is forever but it's not.

    I actually agree. If we were a big established program we could afford the 1 step back to take 2 forward approach. When you have a thin donor base, attendance issues, and a bare cupboard, the step back could be the step off the cliff.

    1. We are back at practice on Monday. What's your priority? 2. When the season is over, do you pack with the portal for 2021, or play the long game and recruit freshmen? 3. Who do you start at Memphis and what's your game plan? (OK so I guess coach for multiple days)

    When he went down I though we lost him for the season. Glad to hear he is OK. He was clearly frustrated at the prospect of being injured, you could see it on the field.

    I actually think we are extremely fortunate to have VPMK and CJS, and while we are losing football games right now, that is temporary. The leadership and vision are in place and there is hope for brghter days. Don't take that for granted. The same cannot be said for every program.

    I thought this was going to be a thread about the fight at the end of University of Clown Football game where a bunch of spoiled kids whine about losing a game and fight each other because they are God's gift to college football and it's just not fair.

    I love it. Tampa teams embracing Tampa teams. Show our players and recruits they live in an exciting city where champions play. The Stanley Cup doesn't go to BFE.

    This reminds me of Tags first year. I am watching to see the next generation of USF players and because I remember the feeling when we turned the corner. It's a feeling you don't get if you just say eff it and come back AFTER we are winning. I am all in. It's not "Unite After We Are Winning" or "Unite Only If Coach Scott and The Players Are Perfect" - its START to finish.
