  1. This may be temporary as I recall reading that once the playoff format starts teams have to win 7 games to get a bowl bid. Of course this may have only been discussed and not agreed upon. These "other" bowls (BOB, Pinstripe, etc) are really nothing more than advanced spring drills.
  2. When does this kid have to make a decision by? I assume by the start of the fall term?
  3. I wonder if NBC would have an on line presence for a game (like ESPN3)? During conference play there could be 8 teams on NBC networks.
  4. Are you sure, I could have swore I read somewhere we do.
  5. I would take a break during the ND game but return in time for the late BE games.
  6. Just to be clear you still won't get any games.... they'll be blacked out just like they were on 620/970's streams last season... they play replays of past shows. True but you can usually catch some of the pregam. Also the Skip Holtz radio show has been free. Last year I searched all of the USF stations during football games and did find a few without paying. I like to sinc it with my DVR and get the best of both worlds. In terms of basketball, I have a college app that allowed me to hear all USF games for free. I actually don't mind paying if I had to but our web site really sucks for out of towners as they sometimes have technical difficulties during games.
  7. Ok, you can get streaming audio for 98.7! Great news for us out of towners. CBS radio actually has an app for the iPhone that has it.
  8. Probably not... that's controlled by IMG (who runs most college broadcasts across the nation) and so far they've been unwilling to stream anything. When they do I'll bet it's a pay per listen service. Maybe it'll happen this season but I haven't heard of any changes. Totally inexcusable and makes the program look bush league. Might be able to pick it up from another provider in Orlando. Maybe I wasn't clear.... IMG produces most all of the college football and basketball in the country... it's not USF's decision... and to the best of my knowledge there isn't really an alternative. It's not a reflection on out program... you can't get any football streaming for most schools. If you are talking about streaming radio then you are wrong. Hell, even my employer, the University of New Hampshire, has free streaming radio for its games.
  9. For those of us that don't have ESPNU, what did they say about him? Brian Gresie says "he is buying" this recruit and that BE centers better be ready.
  10. Sorry if this has been posted but they had a segment on our new sumo wrestler. Watching it now on ESPNU.
  11. How I hate the SEC and all of their fans.

  13. I think there is a chance we could play them every three or four years but it will not be based on the results of this game .
  14. On paper it would appear this is the best team ever but they have to produce. We will have an answer to this question on Dec 1st.
  15. Thanks Flip. I am probably looking at the last game (for our first BE Champ) so I can also attend the Georgia basketball game the night before.
  16. Does anyone know when individual game tickets for FB are offered? I can make it down for one home game this year.
  17. I like them ALL. To be honest once the game starts who cares? All I want are TDs and defensive stops. Go Bulls!!!
  18. Gold pants DO look good but I like the green better. I like the way team mixes it up.
  19. The man who was instrumental in getting us in the BE. I will never forget that day.
  20. God how I hate UCONN as I work with many from the school.
  21. Much of last season seemed like a hibernation. All I remember was a bad year for the Bulls and the talk of conference alignment. Around my hose we refer to it as "the lost season." Welcome from hybernation, football season is among us.
