    I am actually flying down from New Hampsure for this game with the expectation it is for our first BE championship. Also get to see the USF vs. Geogia game the night before.

    This guy is scmuck. Heath just needs to continue to win to stop the perception that last year was lucky. I would rather have Heath as my USF coach than most of those rank above him.

    I did read that he did not support the concept of USF football at any level. The money was an issue but this was also a philosophical issue regarding football.

    John Allen was the first president of USF. Opps, you are correct...guy hated sports. They both did. They had to die, not just retire, before we actually got football finally approved. And who got it done? A woman!!! Thank you Betty Castor!

    Occurred before the season started. He also missed some games. The issue was the defense first philosophy by Heath after Dojo left.

    Why not, we are actually fine in many statistical categories (wins vs. BCS opponents, wins va. ACC, etc). Perception is the key. Right now he is saying "let's wait and see". Right now that is not good enough as we are constantly getting rolled by ESPN and media types. You should have heard what he was saying on ESPN today...his mouth was moving but very little in defense of the league.

    His appearance with the media is like a big foot sighting. Where is all of the info comparing the BE with the ACC? Where is the info stating the past successes of the conference? Where is he in trying to secure a major bowl (regardless if we get one I want to hear he is at least up to bat). The BE office is a joke, they do nothing.

    For USF, I blame John Lott Brown the first pressidenr of USF. His hatred of sports put us so far behind in FB and is still leaving us scrambling.

    Jesus, we need a commish who will fight the PR battle. I really hope we get a pit bull who will stand up and and give a positive BE spin.
