  1. Too much performance enhancing drugs in that sport to my liking...
  2. Even with changes in players, our defense will be dominant this year. We won't need many points from the offense.
  3. That’s awesome. USF Baseball is the only other sport I’ll follow with real interest. Wish MBB would do something this time of year.
  4. Hope Q got paid for this or is getting a taste of the profits
  5. No sound though...quality control still an issue at USF media
  6. Taken that trip many a time back in the day. Leave Penn Station and go to 30th street station in Philadelphia. Takes about an hour and a half on AmTrack. From there you can get on the Market-Frankford Subway then change over to the Broad Street subway heading southbound. Of course you can also take an Uber from 30th Street station too.
  7. Dude not knowing what happend by now is like someone not having a tv...oh wait...sorry
  8. But a win over a top 20 USF team does gain them more value than a win against FIU. It could be important if UGA is #5.
  9. UGA losing to USF is not nearly as bad if they lost to Rutgers or Vandy...
  10. His mere presence creates greatness for USF athletics. I already miss Mr. Quinton Flowers.
  11. Caught bits of the game on Bullsvision. Glad to see the coaching staff off to a good start. Also glad the pen was able to close it down as this is a question mark for the team. Looking forward to some warmer weather up here so I can listen to the game while I do yard work.
  12. Point one: yes you are correct but it is still better than playing San Jose, UMASS, Utah State, etc. in terms of playing Memphis we have to play them regardless. We at least have some control in the OCS schedule. Last, these schedules are so far out in years it is possible that the lower G5 will be having a decent year by the time we play them. Point Two: I’ll hold to my argument that a team like Purdue does not think in terms of championships (although they might start to change with Frome at coach so I’ll use Rutgers). They may say that is their goal but at the end of the day they know their culture will not be conducive to winning big games (aside from the fluke year). So I think your logic is correct here but I don’t think that is the way all P5 teams think. If it was Illinois, GT, would have never signed with us.
  13. I was only a few years older than you when I saw the first one too. Like you I’ll go see Han Solo because I know the character. I did not bother with Rogue One until it was on NetFlix.
  14. You could be right but there are still a lot of nerds out there and the kids they produce are...you guessed it...nerds. But seriously I go watch only out of tradition. I saw the first one when I was kid so I figure what the hell might as well keep it going.
  15. Nope. Those in the bottom half of the P5 know they got as much chance as a team in G5. Purdue, Rutgers, California...they know they have no shot. Oh yeah they may have a fluke year here and there but they will have no problem playing YSF.
  16. Not according to the box office. When it comes to make believe fantasy stories money is all that is real.
  17. If we are a consistent top 20 team I think there would be many in the P5 (perhaps on the 2nd level) who would look at this as an opportunity to beat a top 20 recognized team. Playing them at home is a plus. This later is most important as I believe there are teams in the 2nd levelof the P5 who would welcome the opportunity in their own stadium. Yes, I support one and done.
