I do not see what all the doom and gloom is about. Yes he had good hands but we also have some three star receivers that were not getting anytime. I think you see Deonte Welch and Ruben GOnzalez step up. I really like GOnzalez and feel like he was not given a chance because he was not as fast as the other guys. I also think that we will using a lot of I-Formation that wil only call for two receivers at a time. So depth at this position is not a need it once was. Sterling was a slot receiver which is not set Coach T will be using a lot.

I have Dish so they offer ESPN game plan and not ESPN 3. But what I dont is if the games on Game PLan are the same games on ESPN3. I know ESPN3 carried almost all of our games the last couple of years.

I just moved from Tampa to North Carolina and I want to know the best package to get for games. I had ESPN3 before and I was happy to a certain extent. If ESPN Gameplan gets all of the same Football games I would rather do that so I can watch it on TV. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. THanks

Have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. If Holtz did anything right, he recruited O-line. We do not need a superior running back. As matter of fact we were quite successful running with Coach Skippy. It is when he got behind and the defense could not hold games that it broke down. So I say having Bench Manage the game and score three touchdowns is all we need. This team is about defense. There will be close games but I believe with our defense we are poised to win 9 games in this year. Yes you heard it here first. I am more concerned about losing to Cincinnati than I am Michigan St. Other than that I really think we have a chance to win every other game. Defense is where I am putting my hat on this year. The offense will be average at worst and stellar at best. The Defense will be awesome. Dbacks do not matter as much when the Dline is penetrating every time.

I was just making the point that Mcelroy was not a standout QB. Yes he is in the NFL but he did not doing anything spectacular in college. He was a game manager. Defense and Running led Alabama to championships. Maybe I should do some more research but I dont see Saban going after a lot of 5 star QBs. He is fine with a 3 star (depending on the website).

I think this is an incorrect assumption. Basketball does not beget football. UNC could be relegated to the New Big East and play football at in the MAC. Basketball stands by itself. See Memphis.

Can anyone answer if this deal is for Tier one rights only or all three? The positve out of all of this is we would be able to see every game on TV. I for one am tired the ESPN 3 and the other assorted options like SUNY which I dont even have.

Remember in highschool most kids play both ways. So linemen have experience and are interchangeable (Offense/Defense).
