  1. Yeah, I have like 4 RBs and one is a starter, lol. Of course, its slim pickings but try to make lemonade out of lemons at the position.
  2. TBO Prep coverage announced that schools are going to be closed in Hillsborough county and that football teams are no allowed to practice. Will this storm effect USF's prep for Nevada? http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/sports/category/C667/
  3. I guess you missed the part of the " Pledge and you can win a college sports spending spree".
  4. If there hasn't been any lawsuits yet, I doubt there will be any in the future. What I think would happen is Congressional Hearings on the matter. There is a mountain of money involved and public schools. If what ESPN is doing is true, its almost like racketeering...from its puppeteering.
  5. Vote for USF! http://promo.espn.go.com/espn/contests/clc/2012/
  6. Obvious that ESPN was trying to use Florida and Ohio open records act to put a wedge in between member schools and the Big East. I think that the Big East could have used a better tactic than threatening legal action against a public school that is bound by state and federal open record acts.
  7. Watching it now. I wanted to see it because Gruden is on it. But the first story is about a former Saints DB Steve Gleason with ALS, the disease that destroys muscles. And it turns out that playing football is the ONLY scientifically proven cause of the disease because of all the NFL players with the disease and they had onset years earlier than in other cases. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/08/23/another-former-player-comes-down-with-als-or-something-just-like-it/ http://www.teamgleason.org/
  8. I have that NFL preseason package. I need to go and check out the late part of the Jags games for Selvie. I saw the beginning of week 1 and the announcers were saying that the Jags were hurting at DE.
  9. Miami has an opening for someone who can get open, catch passes, and stay out of the media. From his Twitter feed on the 19th Carlton Mitchell â€@C_Mitch18 A sick Lion is still a Lion. A Lion is the King of all beast.. #JustSayin 19 Aug Carlton Mitchell â€@C_Mitch18 15 hrs later.... Great progress today, back at it in 8 hrs #HUSTLEHARDER
  10. Cheaper than flying out to the game. Only takes one phone call. If its on the sports tier, I called Dish and since I am a long time customer, they are giving it to me through college season for 1/2 price, like $4/month. Totally worth it.
  11. I joined. But do you pick now for the entire year or as the year progresses?
  12. 69ca43b5386146767219e561d80b8086
  13. It's not about individuals, it about "team". smazza, is that you?
  14. We already beat FSU. Its off the Bucket List. Win the Big East is a no brainer. Losing to FSU is just going to make whomever USF plays in the BCS game less weary and probably help USF psychologically.
  15. USF could so use this beast. But yeah, UF seems to be going the Michigan route after Rich Rod showed, though less publicly. I really am wondering what this kid said he didn't see eye to eye with because that kinda made a bell go off.
  16. If you have a facebook account, here is a very short video out up by coach. http://www.tout.com/...7j?ref=tw3rbrp8 As pointed on Voodoo Five's article on the new facility, its hard to make a good looking locker room. He put up a link to SMU's "strip club" locker room, lol, to compare.
  17. http://recruiting.sc...id=4789345&pg=1 OG Josh Outlaw decommitted from UF because they didn't like him taking his official visits. Plus they didn't see eye to eye on some things. He also wants to get on the field early. USF has offered him and now they need to turn on the charm. He should have a decent chance of playing early with the O line having some graduations coming up.
  18. We live in a culture of fast change due to boredom. It has changed the way people think...about everything. I don't see it changing any time soon. If they could change their uniforms after every play, I think they would be doing it. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvVVQGgbKk0
  19. Dumb and he has landed himself in hot water. http://www.nj.com/gi...ara_thrown.html and from the linked NBC Sports article,
  20. Or how about Nate Allen, only a 2 hour drive away. This guy is ignorant. Nate Allen got to the NFL about a round and a half after JPP. Exactly. I would have to say the biggest USF news maker in the NFL would be Jenkins. Henry, I just don't remember so much about him in the news. Kawika Mitchell wasn't really in the news much either. Being a first round pick on a team that is always in the news put Jenkins much more in the spotlight. I think that JPP, if he stays healthy, is going to the HoF. Seriously. The guy is a man among boys. I rewatched the Super Bowl and JPP was the defensive star of that game, with the pressure he was putting on Brady. When he was notified he was going to the Pro Bowl, he asked, "Is that a good thing"? Just because he is still learning about the game, he was clueless of how much of an honor it is. I just hope he retains this enthusiasm he has for sacking QBs, batting balls and terrorizing RBs for the next decade, at least.
  21. Read wiki. His brother looks so much like him that he was impersonating him and doing his shows.
  22. I guess you're saying he should have specified football alumnus? Here's our most well known alumnus ... : You sure that is him and not his brother?
  23. Well, I posted a comment. He was referring to Grothe but I am sure more people know about Jenkins.
