Says he will do it next April. That's cool that he does it. More fans, the better. -
WHEN a BULL becomes a NFL Hall of Fame Inductee

He just needs to add 2000 yards passing at 75%, 100 yards rushing and a couple punts. -
WHEN a BULL becomes a NFL Hall of Fame Inductee

I guess statistically it is going to easier to get into the HoF than win a Heisman. I hope it happens some day though but its very hard to get in. There are questions on players like Mike Alstott, if he will make it. So being popular and playing good doesn't get you in, being a superstar over a long time is how you get in. -
UGA is the team with all the issues with players getting arrested in the offseason and it happens year after year. They have like 4 this year. But as for Holtz and Woolard is saying, its true. People, 24 years from now will look back at lessons learned, not w/l. Fans are selfish. They don't care what a team does to win. They don't care if winning means cheating, just don't get caught. There is so much more going on than w/l. Its why programs that have poor records for decades still field a team. Going through adversity and making it through the other side, without quitting or cheating builds character and better citizens. Winning and the quest to be the best has brought out much of the "ugly" American attitude that outsiders see. A Chinese girl wins a swim meet by a large margin and doping is the first thing an American says. An American girl does virtually the same thing and that same guy is silent. So saying this is "loser talk" just means you don't get it, its not always about winning, its about building a foundation for this young men who later in life will remember the lessons learned in the program. This is the kind of coach I want teaching my kid. "Look, if we build it the right way and we graduate our players and we have good people and we do everything we can and we still don't win and I'm let go here, I can live with myself because we did it the right way. I believe we are doing it the right way. And I believe we're going to win.''

Holtz said they are finishing with the tier games that they don't want to play and are going to be able to schedule the games they want to play. Now what games are those? The night games during the week? The Miami series?
-
Neutral site games are for marquee or historically storied teams. Red River Rivalry, Army Navy, Florida/GA, etc. or a marquee team is featured that will fill the stands on its own like the Texaco Star Classic with FSU. Maybe 30 years from now, with continued rise and success, with USF a frequent top 25 or higher team with perhaps a NC or some other type dominace, that insures there are fans that travel, sure.
-
The Big East won't do a neutral site championship game, you think USF is going to do one? No way. Once there is a following for USF statewide, that travels, like FSU or Florida, sure. The first college game I went to was the Texico Star Classic, FSU vs Memphis at the Tangerine Bowl back in the 80s and it was almost sold out, more than USF has at a home game. Also note that neutral site games are usually corporate sponsored.

The problem with gold is sometimes its so light,it is close to the white of the away team. There isn't much contrast in the uniforms and it just doesn't look that great.
-
They need new Iconic Bull and Old Hotness uniforms, lol. I agree with the throwbacks. As for the gold jersey, James Madison has an alternate one that with an accent looks good. We'd have to have a good deal of green accents if we had a gold jersey, but I'd love to see it. Big fan our of combos of gold-white-gold and green-white-green sorry but another team has already taken that color scheme. Sorry but what are you talking about Someone asked if any team has looked good in gold. Well, that isn't too bad looking, with another color accented on it. The Saints have an all gold jersey too they never wear or I guess sell to the fans.

All we need is a ninja. -
That's what they do. They choose what to wear at each game since Skip has arrived.

I don't care what they wear...WIN!

But the game has redshirting and if they expand the roster, you are going to need those double numbers. -
I like the helmets mixed with stripes and without. Its a different design vs just copying it and changing the color.

With 115 players, he HAS to double number. And the coveted single digit numbers, there have been players starting on offense and defense with the same number. -

I just wish you can duplicate team numbers. Do me a favor and go to the Game Changers website which is for ideas and find the ones like duplicate numbers and vote for it. Maybe next year it will be in the game. http://www.easports.com/gamechangers/ideas?campaignId=27783 -
Well, last year in the NCAA game, which comes out before the season starts, had the new gold pants. This year there is nothing new added and the game got the green helmet. The size of the decal is different from 2010 on the helmet and there were some changes of the logo size and location on the pants, but they don't have anything new for 2012 over 2011. NOW, the game has screwed up some team uniforms either missing uniforms or having the shown incorrectly and is adding a large uniform update at the end of this month so I will check to see if there is anything new for USF.

TRANSACTIONS: Holtz said he will not comment on roster changes until Sunday when players report -- he's still waiting for summer grades for some players -- but it's worth noting that walk-on receiver Jordan Duval, arrested on campus this month on a felony grand theft charge and accused of taking a student's iPhone from the campus recreation center, is not listed on USF's new 2012 roster. Nor is defensive back Spencer Boyd, the Notre Dame transfer who was off the team after last season, then allowed back for spring drills with certain stipulations. WELCOME ABOARD: There are 113 players on USF's 2012 roster and only 105 will be able to go with the team to Vero Beach, but of the 19 walk-ons who joined the team for spring drills, five made the cut for the fall roster: DT Stefon "Congo" Konjonavski, DE Colton Hudson, DBs Zach Fisher and Taborie Sullivan and RB Kyle Peck. There are also new freshman walk-ons listed: quarterbacks Tommy Eveld (Jesuit) and Trenton Miller (Palmetto), tight end Jackson Cannon (Land O'Lakes), offensive lineman Hunter Clark (Miami Norland), long snapper Alex Salvato (Lakeland Victory Christian), offensive lineman Kyle Van Atta (Fort Walton Beach). Mike Pierre's brother Ronald, a junior college transfer, is also on roster as a linebacker. And we'll have a note on defensive tackle Soslan Gagloev, yes, the sumo wrestler from Russia. Walk-ons who were on the team last season but are no longer listed on roster: defensive back Patrice Pierre, quarterback Baylin Trujillo (now at Webber International), defensive tackle Cody Sanfratello (now at Jacksonville State), offensive lineman Mike York, fullback Justin Wilcox, tight end Tyler Guy, running back Miles Bennett and linebacker Cody Durakovic. YOUR NUMBER IS: There's a few new jersey numbers to report -- receiver Sterling Griffin joined the elite fraternity of single-number players at No. 2, along with safety JaQuez Jenkins (No. 3) and freshman cornerback Chris Bivins (No. 4). Other newcomer numbers for your video-game rosters: Sean Price 12, D'Vario Montgomery 17, Mike Pierre 30, Jarvis McCall 31, Jalen Spencer 33, Tashon Whitehurst 41, Kameron Davis 68, Kofi Amichia 75, Daniel Perry 94 and Guito Ervilus 98. those rosters are just ****** up man Being that only Holtz knows the roster for USF (and similar situations with all the other 112 teams) and isn't revealing it until Sunday, and they are weeks old, what do you expect? There will be several versions pushed out during and after the season. Oh, and Tibruon, the studio that makes the NCAA series is loaded with UCF alumni due to their Orlando location and a UCF intern program. I have one that's really good although there are few changes in the WR corps and O-line that need changes it's volstopfan14 to download That's what this one is, its the OS version 1. Pierre is faster than Murray on the roster so I put him at RB. they have a version 2.2 out already and the roster is a lot better. I made changes already to it but I failed to give it another name Well, maybe that's what this is because the commish said it was the "corrected OS" roster. But it did have Landi spelled Landri. So I don't know for sure except its one of the OS official rosters. Of course they are all wrong because of all the changes noted by Greg on Media Day because players like Griffin now have new single digit numbers.
