As an independent, you have to basically win every game to win “Something” at the end of a season (pre-bowl) or get people interested. A conference gets the fans more excited about conference games that mean something. Let’s freakin win our conference at least once, before we talk about getting called up.

Would prefer a weakened ACC over a weakened Big 12 100% of the time.

Right? In a world where not much makes much sense… the “Atlantic” conference having two Cali teams and zero FL teams makes no sense at all.

If Miami and fsu leave the ACC, that conference would be foolish to not snap up USF immediately. I think we fit the profile of the remaining schools perfectly. Bring on over Tulane too! Great school in a big market. They’ve never been the same since they left the SEC and need a good conference to flourish again. Just like us.
