Amazing when you actually make 3s how much better a team looks. One thing I've noticed is that Blagmon isn't overly fast. Got out in the open court after a steal and got run down and passed easily by the opponent. There were a couple of other times it was evident as well. She made three 3s though and was in double figures. Maybe the 1st time???

May be the worst subs. I've gone once in the last 3 or 4 years and that was only because we were on the road, starving and the only thing at an exit was Subway.

Been a long two days. My wife and I made the trip up to Ponte Vedra on Monday morning. Got there in time to see the 2nd half of the first round and the whole 2nd round. My FitBit almost freaked at the number of miles we put in. Each player came up to us and thanked us for supporting them. Christian DiMarco and Jimmie Jones' dads were both there. Both great guys. Chris DiMarco got to be a voluntary coach for the 2nd round. There can only be 2 coaches on the course at one time so GCSB wasn't allowed to talk with the players. Chris starts on the Champions Tour in August. We were trailing following the 2nd round yesterday and came out struggling this morning. Our guys were playing with Arkansas and Liberty players (top 3 teams after the 2nd round). Arkansas had a great second round on Monday to take the lead and came out playing well. At one point they were up by, I believe, 5 strokes. But then our guys solidified while Arkansas struggled. We came back to take the lead and it grew to a 5 stroke lead. Tennessee made a run but then faded as well. On the final hole the last group came to the tee with USF up by 5. Claudio proceeded to hit his tee ball almost out of bounds to the right. Then he was only able to chip it into a bunker. Then pulled his 3rd shot into the water; dropped, was hitting his 5th and pulled it almost into the water again - a bit past the flag and off the edge of the green to the left. By some miracle the ball stayed up. Just before that I had asked Pri Singh if there was any way a ball left of the flag could avoid the water. He said "not really". Well Claudio's shot did. The Arkansas player missed his birdie putt by inches and Claudio chipped and then 2 putted for an 8 leaving USF with a 1 shot margin of victory. Holy Guacamole. What looked to be a sure thing sure wasn't. Sad part was the Claudio was tied for individual honors going into that last hole. But the guys were excited to get the win against some really good teams. Rode down to Daytona for dinner with my wife's friend and then home. We are pretty exhausted but happy to have been there for the win.

Well, another win but another ugly game. Don't know if we made more than 1 FG in the 4th quarter. Free throws kept us in the game. We only shot 4 for 100 from 3 it seemed. How does an entire team go in a shooting slump at the same time. I mean nothing is going in - for anyone. Maria, Laura, Blagmon and Prieto had one each. Think Kit had one FG the entire game and the rest of her points were from the stripe. This has to turn around or we lose to UCF over there.

Looking for some help. I'm sure one of you knows where I'll be able to find live scoring for the upcoming event that men's golf will be playing starting on Monday. My wife and I are going to make the trip up to Jacksonville and want to be able to track the scoring without bothering the coach. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

One of the few games I've attended this year. The points given up in the paint were a huge problem first half. Got a little better when they switched to zone but still game up too many. I don't know much about Memphis and whether they are a good outside shooting team but dang, try to guard someone inside. Are out guys just not as athletic as most? Seems like every rebound there was a Memphis player jumping higher to grab it and every one of our attempted layups was swatter 2 rows deep. And as much as I like to crap on the refs, that was a pretty well officiated game. I know there was one call in the 2nd half when Collins almost had a steal and then got called for a foul that CBG was really upset about. But from my vantage point it may have been the right call.

How about a 2/3 empty stadium? Edit: Having said that I'm pretty sure I'll be buying at any price point. But don't say you didn't raise prices. Sounds like Fake News.

Am I reading the email correctly? Did they say season ticket prices aren't changing? But didn't we pay for 7 games last year? Does that mean we'll pay for 7 again but we're playing 6? If so, that is an increase in ticket prices.

Just keep the ladies off Bourbon Street since Mardi Gras is right around then.
