1) Conference, any changes for USF? USF Joins the ACC after FSU bolts for the Big XII or Big 11 2) What's going on with football? Any successes? They will win the school's first national championship... .... Oh, FOOTball, not futbol. First ever 10-win season, we become the team that no one from the "power conferences" wants to play a la Southern Miss or UCF 3) What about Men's basketball? Have we made it back to the Dance? LOLno 4) Any other changes? Mentioned earlier, Soccer wins a national championship. Softball gets close, though. Women's basketball makes it to the Sweet 16, baseball doesn't make it beyond a regional.

Another reason why Willie Taggart: He will get the students to the games. He is a young, charismatic coach that will appeal to a very fickle fan base. He can recruit Florida, and he is a coach that will stay at USF for a long time. We all knew that if Skip had a chance, he would leave on the first plane to South Bend.

If I were Holtz: "It was obvious that I made or allowed my assistants to make some poor decisions tonight that cost us some points. To the fans and alumni, I apologize; it was clear that we were outcoached tonight. We didn't play as aggressive as we should have, we gave up some very dumb penalties, especially that DeDe Lattimore personal foul, he will never do that again. However, we can still win the Big East, and I refuse to allow this team to give up on this season, and neither should our fans." I would respect him so much more if he just took some of the ******* blame! Or do anything to light the necessary fire under the defense's collective asses. Yesterday night, among the 30 or so tweets I sent out, the one I remember the most was asking why Holtz wasn't as angry about this team as the fans are.

Unfortunately, living in Myrtle Beach and having an anything-can-happen-so-ya-really-can't-leave job leaves me watching it on the boob tube.

Because that would be like giving a crackhead 100 dollars. You've seen what they do with the money they have, so why on earth would we contribute to their habit?

To agree with Smazza, as taxpayers we at least partially fund the University, so why shouldn't USF offer classes to their community? Just a thought...

I don't belive you, I think 17K is generous. This was the only USF game I attended last year (Home for Thanksgiving), and it led to a long rant post.

As far as soccer environments go, after being at 3 great soccer schools (USF, South Carolina, currently at Coastal Carolina) I can confidently say that USF's soccer atmosphere comparable to Duke's basketball atmosphere. Just above and beyond everyone else. Soccer is an afterthought at a lot of schools, but it might be our second most popular men's sport after football.

Nevada is one of the best non-BCS teams in the country, including Boise St. Some of the talking heads predicted an MWC title for them this year. They just beat Cal in Berkley This was an amazing win, and last year we lose 31-20. I really hope it's a sign of things to come. For those of us worried about the short week, realize this: Rutgers has a shorter week.

Going to chaperone a busload of 19-year-olds across the great state of South Carolina on a USF Gameday, ever again. Me, three weeks ago: "Hey Dan, you're new here, this is a great chance to meet some students and other staff. Don't worry, you'll have a chance to follow the game online." Also, f*ck T-Mobile, your service sucks and your commercials are annoying. /rant

Why do we finally play USC the year after I graduate? Gamecocks are the funnest fans to troll. :-(
