It's hard to say. The motor city bowl was only considering us because the big 10 didn't have enough teams eligible, so they could go look for an at large team from another conference. At the time, we were big in the news because we were the being touted as the "skunks" of the BCS and everything. I think it was a timing thing. After our performance last year in the game and the fact that there was only a few thousand of us that made the trip, I don't know if a bowl that was even farther away distancewise and in an even COLDER climate would expect USF to travel well. I think if we want to make it to a bowl this year, we have to either WIN the conference, or be picked by the Gator Bowl or Insight bowl. It won't be easy to get one of those. We have to have a much better record than last year, and we have to be showing an upward trend--not a downward trend (UCONN and everything after was really bad last year.) We need to just concentrate on winning and not be distracted.
