  1. Absolutely. It will look so much worse to the tv audience if we are even making the same arm motion as those FSU dweebs. It will really look like they have taken over our stadium. Why help ESPN ridicule us like they do the Rays during a Boston or NY game.
  2. Thanks for posting. I forgot how cool that was to watch. I'm totally pumped for Saturday now. We need to see more of our defese getting into the backfield and taking people down for huge losses. That's what I used to love about Bulls football.
  3. I'm with you, bro. We only get one football season a year. There's 8 games left. I'm over Balls Tate. Take it one game at a time until we're mathematically eliminated from winning the BE. GO Bulls!!
  4. F them. HOT needs to start playing "The Bull" to drown them out. 3 days until game day! Let's go.
  5. \ A great coach can make adjustments based on weather conditions. Then maybe he should have called a bunch of short passing plays like he did in his 1st season as coach. We don't need to throw deep balls to win the game. In fairness, they did make adjustments for the weather. He said that's why the first drive was all run plays. It was also very effective. The reason we lost the game was the defense couldn't stop anybody.
  6. I hope the questions are appropriate but also not sugar coated. Example: Why has the defense failed to create an INT? How did the Balls Tate QB (and the Rutgers QB for that matter) get through the entire game without a spec of dirt on his jersey?
  7. Trainwreck? I hope not. I am going to listen as I am very concerned. I don't want to dwell on the bad loss, but I do want to hear that it is unacceptable, it will be corrected, and it won't happen again. Go Bulls!
  8. I didn't hear it. You guys make it sound like he's accepting defeat in advance. Not good.
  9. We've never had a 6pm start, so that was something we weren't sure how to prepare for...
  10. I will wait until the end of the season before I make my final decision, but I agree big here. He should not be afraid to use the word unacceptable--especially about this loss. I expect him to describe the loss (and the defensive results) as unacceptable on the call-in show tonight. It needs to be said.
  11. This is what it looks like when the opposing quarterback gets dirt on his jersey. I almost forgot.
  12. They can take home the sod that's hopefully wedged in their collective facemasks.
  13. Somebody said it on another thread... the StayPuft defense
  14. Weather excuses are absolute BS. Both teams have to play in the same wind.
  15. What a joke. What I took away from this is that the defense can't get off of the field, the coaches don't trust their players in man coverage, BJ played great and the wind is a huge factor. Sounds like they are switching to zone coverage on 3rd downs and getting beat every time. He flat out said that other teams are "working our linebackers underneath" - Then why isn't he making adjustments? Hell rush 6 on 3rd downs, because the coverage sucks anyway at least put some pressure on the QB hope he messes up. "We were going to play more man, but that changed with some of the injuries" - what a bunch of bull crap. "I don't want to put that young man out on an island" - Dumb, this must be why our defense was this way last year. I say leave them on an island. With all of that said this just shows his style of play is super super conservative and he's not willing to take risks, but his conservatism is failing miserably. ...against Ball State. Ball State. They punted twice. No sacks. No INTs. No tackles for loss. Unacceptable.
  16. This has always bothered me: If you know the officiating will be crappy and questionable (it always is with BE crews), then why would you have a "strategy" to win by a small margin where 1 call could make the difference in who wins the game. Shouldn't the strategy be to blow teams out? Or IS that the strategy but we are so bad that the games are always close?
  17. 2005? That team actually controlled their own destiny in the Big East when they were 4-1 in league play. Sorry. I typed that during the game after a few beers. At the time, I still thought we were going to come back and win by 7 or more. I really did think that. Hence the 2005--thought we'd win ugly.
  18. It's not the loss, its the way we are trending. It's the direction we are headed. Hoping this is rock bottom. What could be worse? Losing to an FCS team? Going 0-7 in conference?
  19. At least the bags at Louisville said "Bag Krag" so that everyone knew it was directed at the coaching/management and not at the student atheletes.
