  1. The problem is bigger, CJL shouldn't be the special teams coach.  He doesn't have time to focus and train. For example, there have been opportunities for the freshman punter to punt from the middle of the field, say in the NC game or UConn game, but Leavitt chose not to give them that experiece.  Every player needs a position coach to act as a buffer between he and the head coach, especially neurotics like kickers. Just a bad plan design, in my opinion, that will never work. In reference to giving the punter's a chance during a game is a tough one. If they can't do it in practice, what makes you think they can do it in the games. I have an inside source that says these kids are continuing to not be able to catch the hikes in practice. For some reason they both have butter hands. Hopefully another off-season of fielding hikes will help. Lets cross our fingers! (Pardon the pun) Point well taken, thanks for the info. Having said that, maybe did someone scout these kids in high school? No butter fingers in games or practices there? WTF?
  2. My condolences as well. I buried my younger brother a week ago today, at kickoff time v. Pittsburgh. For what it's worth though, Mac has caught the ultimate break, he still has his job and his health. These poor souls don't.
  3. Sounds a lot like that piece o'shirt stadium UCF sleepwalks in.........
  4. True, lots of Huggins jock sniffers, for sure. The real issue is Mac (over and under for this post to get deleted is 10 PM, it's now 714 pm)...no charisma, no roster management, no luck. I'm praying and cheering for him, but I just can't see it. When I see how the ladies basketball team has reversed itself in the same time frame, can't we hope for nirvana to be higher than a BIG EAST tournament bid? Look no further than baseball. The Eddie-iots held onto loyalty for too long, you tell me, isn't everyone more fired up for baseball than they have been in 10 years? Hell, and I was a Rupp guy....redeal the basketball cards, Woolard, give us 5 new ones.
  5. Pop tarts and beer?? What, are we fishing saturday am?

  7. Panic move. disappointing from the staff.
  8. Exactly! UH OH, but not with Colby Erskin down....Bien must be crying now, his go to guy id down!!!
  9. How many times have we all seen teams thoroughly outplayed but barely outscored at halftime. With some coaching adjustments, we will be fine. To wit: 1. Hard count to avoid blitzes. 2. Slip screens to Randolph or Amari to spread things. 3. Teach Randolph not to catch punts on the 1. 4. Creep our safeties closer on first and second. Need 8 in the box to stop the 1st and 2nd down gains. Their QB can't throw. 5. Out QB can throw, we've had the pendulum swing too far to the "running game". Flip Jr. will relax, he started to get a handle on things late in the first half. 6. Tell Teachey to kick one hard, they've figured out how to stand 2 guys 25 yards down the field and catch the Aussie rules kicks. We'll be fine, bulls fans, their QB couldn't make third team at UCF. GO BULLS!
  10. Amen, best to you, the missus and little one. It is a little like football, my friend, you HAVE to believe to win in both.
  11. This guy is a beast, we have no safeties who move the pile on run support. putting this guy back there as a strong safety might make sense to have him learn the college game, while knocking some heads.
  12. Mixed metaphors, I think he meant the Golden Showers from UCF.
  13. I resent that, scratch me from the list of Mac supporters. He's a zero, actually, a worse than zero, because he's negative to the program. For the record.
  14. He would be here playing for Mac until 2009, once Mac gets his contract extension . this is mac's last year the ony way this guy comes to usf is with a torn acl.
  15. I have reloaded your member info for your original account as of 9/22. All your IM info and variables should still be good as of the moment you deleted it, but your profile might be outdated... just double check everything to make sure it is right and if you see anything out of sorts... let me know. Umm, nice work there. Strange coincidence, too, I lost all mine yesterday as well. I believe I had one more than Smazza.........
  16. Kansas representing well late, too, leading A&M 18-13 454 to go in 4th.
  17. I'll second that. 2b has to be whoever is playing the gay-tors.
  18. he is, but so are the average defensive linemen since the "hail mary" days...
  19. And an absolutely, freaking BEAUTIFUL day for football in tampa today, for those of you not here. Tonight will be perfect. Perhaps time to shake hands with Capn Morgan to welcome him to the pregame festivities already.
  20. If it's your first girl, quick lesson learned, amigo. They do what they want, when they want to do it. You get that rule down quickly, dad, life will be much easier. Likely the Mrs. may have imparted that one on you already, though, come to think of it.... May you have many more kids and many more happy birthdays. Enjoy the game on the tube.
  21. Come on, what do you mean??? We just got a verbal from a point guard who verballed to us over FAMU. ****, lucky HCC didn't offer yet.........
  22. I continue to believe that Grothe is Doug Flutie's illegitimate son. the whole flip flop thing is only a beard...if #8 dropkicks one, we will know for sure.
  23. good point. sort of hard to envision those teachey end over end, 20 foot high punts that roll for 30 yards translating into field goal kicking nirvana. different ballgame off the tee with no one rushing, but punting, he looks more like a rugby mate after a few grogs than an undiscovered jan stenerud.
  24. BTW, we all acknowledged his kicking here (11 of 16 FGs), he certainly could have been kicking for USF again.  But he quit.  Perhaps he got bad advice from his inner circle (very believable). No one has knocked Bronson, just that wacky tale-telling tbdangel that has filled our board and the Armadillo board with disingenuous ********. Amen, my thoughts to Mrs. Marinovich, er, Bronson from the other string, in case she missed it (big friday night of hitting the sauce at the trailer and reading the internet on dial-up may have blurred her vision).....Get lost, mom, smash the sour grapes back in your vodka glass and you and Mama Harrison Beck should detox and live a life and accordingly let your young lads balls drop a little lower in their sacks like they're supposed to as young men. Nice morals and class to teach your kids. Freaking grow up, you hag, cheer for your own team on your own board. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadios.
