  1. Joe Jones?????? Zero star running back from Broward?
  2. Jesus, man, didn't you ever play the game? Guys are demoted all the time and *****, moan and make life bad for all. Go back to home ec class.
  3. Honorable men cover their wagers. I believe this one will go unfilled, based on ECU mind-set.
  4. $10, safest bet i'll make the rest of the year. by the way, how do u get into the chat room for the game? on the main website somewhere?
  5. First, let me say I am not a CRM apologist.  I think he probably needs go after this season.  My problem is the way people here come on after a loss with their "See! See! I told you so." responses - but after a win it's like "So what..." Can't really have it both ways. Second, I don't think any reasonable person can blame CRM completely for what has happened in his first three seasons.  There is no one on the planet that could do better, given the circumstances (defections and injuries), that USF could afford to pay.  Sure, Pat Riley could come in and be a great coach, but that just isn't reasonable. The point that gets lost by you apologists is that CRM is in charge of the roster, too, via recruiting and scholarship allocation, per year, and by how he coaches and supervises which is a key component for retention. Thus, when a cann or a howard gets hurt, or someone leaves the program (dennis, sills, frane) we hear, "WOE IS MAC, HE JUST DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH GUYS??!!", when in reality, he under recruited or under allocated certain positions or enough scholarships to each graduation year, or just recruited athletes who could not work within his particular style. No one can unfortunately take so many longshots in one 2-3 year period and expect to use that as a core strategy for long-term success . Apologists, your argument just doesn't work....sorry. Ho Ho Ho
  6. Actually, you should never kick the current girlfriend to the curb until you have the next one locked up/sealed deal unless she's an absolute crazed maniac.  Anyway, piss and moan away all you want D'siders.  CRM will finish the season no matter how much you complain or call for his head.  AD D-Dub will do what he's gotta do after the BE tourney.  If you want CRM gone root for a losing season.  If you don't care if he stays, root for 15 wins on the season and a min. of 9 OOC wins before Jan.  It's actually that black n white. hey, easy on the race card there.
  7. That's what I was thinking... But how can you get bad grades your senior year!? Exactly. I know I cracked the hell out of the books my last semester at school. I wore out that last studying booth, er, cube at bennigans late night 2-1........
  8. In all due respects to the founders here, i don't really think Wooly and the boyz spend a lot of time perusing the old message boards before they make key personnel decisions, or for that matter, JL or Mac check in at night after they return from recruiting missions to verify they're offering the right guy. The purpose of these boards is simple, and worthwhile. It allows FANS to get together and create interest, in a way previously not available. You or anyone cannot possibly tell me your interest in our beloved alma mater is any LESS because of wonderful forums like this, can you? within the genre, there are no doubt "glass is half full" and "glass is half empty" artists on both sides of any debate, but it's the debate that's the gem here, in that all of us give enough of a **** to read and post, from time to time, and that, my friends, is the seed of a program. Without this great board, far less of us would be interested, active or know even a scrap as much as otherwise we do now, simply given the logistical constraints of where we live, work and our free time. SO, RELAX, and like any good, red blooded american, enjoy watching the train wreck as you drive by.....wow, and tell me all you nascar fans don't go just to see a good pair of american breasts and a flaming (but non fatal) accident now and then? god bless america...land that i love.......... HO HO HO!
  9. No problem, people just disagree. Re: my avatar, I had season's with a buddy last year, and i was just so damned sick, i could puke at those horrific games last year. having said that, my avatar should be offset by my pics in the contest, so at least, i'm neutral? ha.....my point was that a lot of these guys aren't "well-rounded" athletes, they need to be protected within a system to let them succeed. i'll be glad if verdejo is, glad if grandberry is, but i don't see it in tbuck, or mattis, richardson, capko, etc, good guys, who hustle like hell, but are limited in their skillsets. but not bad guys. i do agree the future looks better, but the present couldn't have looked any worse than last year. actually, wins and losses, though important, are on parallel with building the institution of a program - recruiting success, fan support, media support - intangibles i dont' see in mac, AND I EVEN WATCH HIS ROTTEN TV SHOW! if he/we could just get some high school seniors to supplement out ellis island recruiting program, i'd have more hope. hell, who knows, though, i'm still hoping for santa to bring my kids better athleticism so i don't have to fund 4 tuitions , so what do i know.......... ho ho ho
  10. You're right, have you ever seen McHugh shoot a 15 foot jumper? a 10 footer? drive to the hoop? a free throw?? I appreciate your counsel, but usf has had loads of these great rebounders who handle the ball like a hand grenade, but rebound like beasts - hakim, gary alexander, etc. i'm asking the question as to whether these guys are athletes like, say, UConn, Pitt, etc. starts? I haven't seen Bozeman, but I was asking about Verdejo and Grandsberry, bozo. McHugh has a better shot at the NFL than NBA, Mr. Colangelo, and I didn't say they have no business on the court for USF, either. Buckley lobs up treys whenever he touches the ball and disappears in big games - we are the ellis island of transfers, give us whoever u don't want, and we'll take them. Ridiculous post, man, save the risk of carpel tunnel.......p.s. I didn't even blast mac on my post, either, I'm hoping the guy succeeds, so why don't you get up off your knees, towel your face off and look at the guy objectively.
  11. Come on, Billy Bob, what season are you watching? (P.S. Dear Big Brother, is this ok? ha....)
  12. Did anyone actually see the game? if so, are these legitimate, well-rounded Div 1 players, not like our current guys, god bless them, who aren't exactly prototypes (e.g. McHugh, no outside game, Buck, no physical presence, Capko, no quicks, Richardson, enough said....). Anyone see them play? at least to see interviews, these guys seem to have Div 1 physical assets, at least. Any thoughts?
  13. Gruden, Jon - see monday morning's fish wrap for weekly diagnosis. this phenomenon is new to you?
