In Brett's article he says "Unlike earlier years, USF's games feature the cheerleaders and band." That is a crock of poop. I've been around USF Women's BBall for the better half of the past decade, and there were years where there was more of us in the band/cheerleaders/sundolls than there ever were in the stands. The band and the cheerleaders have been at every home game, Sun Dome or Corral, since at least 1994.

Out of the 10K tickets that the school received, they had to pay for seats for the band and band staff members which was prob in the 250 person range....

Rod Smith was and still is awful. The only reason why the offense did anything this year was because of the talent on the field, not the coach up in the box. Good Bye Rod Smith, HELLO OFFENSE!!!

Hell, if he is a 4-star receiver, why did we even try him at QB??? I think he was only a 3-star QB... Hopefully at the old community college he learned how to hold on to the ball....My last memories are from Charlotte watching him funble the ball away...

This year we need to win the games that we SHOULD win, unlike this past season....Imagine what would have happened with wins against RU, KU and Cinci.....

What kind of fundrasing does HOT do throughout the year? I was a member for 4 years, and I don't recall any fundrasing efforts from my time in the band.

If Duemig was as piss poor as you guys make him out to be, he wouldn't be as popular in the Bay Area as he has been...FOR YEARS! Yes, he makes himself look like an idiot at times, but who doesn't? What he plays to is what the market wants to hear which unfortunately is UF, FSU, UM, The Bucs, The Lightning, etc... And for those of you who think the sports chicks are more informative...wow...you know NOTHING about sports.

The Herd of Thunder originally had 300 uniforms...What happened to the other 50-60?

The reason for needing new uniforms isnt so much that the old logo is still on there, it is the fact that they are 7 years old. 7 years doesnt sound like much, but you have to remember that stinky college kids have these uniforms for 4 or 5 months, and they get worn at the game and get all nasty and sweaty, then they go back in the uniform bags(maybe) and arent aired out, dry cleaned, nothing for months and months. Some of teh uniforms have zippers that have corrode and dont really work. Some of them smell like the shirt you wore to lay basketball last week, and that is still in the back of your truck and some of them are just rough. They arent exactly "well taken care of." I know, I was in the band for 4 years, and as each year went on, my uniform got nastier and nastier, and I even tried to keep mine clean. Even in high schools in Hillsborough county, bands get new uniforms every 7 years. Why cant/hasnt/wont that happen at a major university??

What are Sabbath Joseph's chances of playing next year? I remember how big of a signee he was this past recruiting season.

What? Cincy will kill us? C'mon now, Cincy isnt exactly UL or WVU.....Even though they did hand with UL this past weekend, I think that they(Brohm) was just a little rusty. It takes time for a team to get re-acclimated with its QB. I think it will be a very good game on Sunday, and a big game for the program because it is on national TV. Does anyone know what the Sunday night NFL game is? I wonder how many people are gonna channel flip back from USF to teh NFL game?

Rock Riley reported a few weeks ago that he was having problems learning the playbook, both here in Tampa and Chicago. If that is the case, that is too bad, because he really does have the talent to become an NFL back.....

The loss of Ponton and Plancher is looking like it worse than we once thought. Thank the Lord that Coach pulled PJ when he did, and put GrothE in because he is definately the best player on the field... He might even be our best punter!

Maybe they shouldnt run the ball on every goal line stand.... I think it was a mixture of running AND passing that got them there. Why give up on the passing game so close to the end zone????

Maybe, but one of those crappy teams is 1-2 and the other is 3-0....

Why would we want to play the same crappy team, again? Also, by the looks of it, UCF might not have the cinderella season of a year ago.
