I'm taking this and adding, I want Matt Floyd to start. I'm saying it, I don't care how much grief I catch on here. Exactly... there were major logistics issues with them sitting in the student section. I gotta admit....It was a lot more awesome sitting in the middle of the student section. The band projected much better throughout the stadium. Plus, if you made friends with the elevator guy you could beat the rest of the stadium to the section and have tuba section solos playing whatever the hell we felt like playing...

pretty sure those mics are for tv not the stadium. HOT needs to be out of the corner and in the endzone, in the middle of the student section, not an afterthought You can't hear HOT on TV... and the mic's for other programs are for the stadium's PA system so you can hear them on TV.... if USF would take a cue from every other college football program then we would be able to hear HOT in the stadium and on TV. Only time you can hear them is when ESPN sets up a handheld clear dish guy in the corner end-zone in front of them... otherwise you'll be lucky to hear them. About where they sit, I agree... HOT should be in the middle of the student section like most every other college does... not stuck over in a corner. We (When I was in the bad) used to be in the middle of the student section, but were them moved to the corner because of "security." Also, it was a slow transition to have to exit the field through a tunnel, then have to go up the ramps/escalator, through the crowd/student section/consession stands and into the seats behind the goal posts. There are stairs for the band to move up into the corner section, hence why they were moved there.

I've purchased much dumber things at the games after sampling a few adult beverages in the parking lot...

Is it because he convinced BJ to quit basketball to focus on QB, and he feels a sense of obligation to BJ now? Who convinced him to quit? He wasn't a part of the team last year to focus more on football. Is it because BJ was Leavitt’s guy and Gunsby is his guy, and he would take more heat for the losses if they take place with his guy over center?After bj daniels play last year, I dont think anyone could have seen how drastically different he'd play this year. Holtz has even said that in practice, he makes all the right reads, throws, etc, and how when he gets into the games, the game speed seems to effect him. Is it because he thinks BJ can reach the minimum requirement of winning 3 more games?Umm...I dont think the Birmingham or St. Pete Bowls were the goal for the season. I dont think that any coach goes into a season with a goal to win "X" amount of games.

Agreed. I'm sure the pro-CJL crowd will argue that Leavitt never had that option, but why would they give it to Holtz and not him? Money spent is money spent, regardless of where it goes.

It's always fun to speculate like that. Let's hope you're right and Holtz can do some good thing for USF in the next two years. The rest of your stuff is just bitterness because Miami put a beat down on you. If Holtz does not win the Big East in two years, this thread will be here for you to enjoy with your crow. Hopefully we will win the BE, so all of you Leavitt apologists will also be eating a pretty healthy serving of crow... They will just say that Holtz won the BE with Leavitt's team, just like people said Gruden won the Superbowl with Dungy's team. ;D not worried about that as we will not recognize next years program or team I'm just hoping for a more disciplined team.
