  1. Ha.....Maybe that is the best post on this thread.....
  2. Are you kidding??????? Just in case you were wondering, the SEC has two different divisions, where you play all of those teams yearly, plus one or two teams from the other division. This year, the other two teams Florida gets to play are AUBURN and LSU!! How is any schedule the Big East throws in front of you not a cake walk compaired to that. Have you guys noticed that our "better" recruits beck out of their verbals to go to the SEC schools, ie. Dexter McCluster to Ole Miss and Jarrod Fayson to UF. Top to bottom, the SEC is a much more talented conference. Maybe in the future, if the schools like USF, Louisville and Pitt continue to go to bowl games, and teams dominate like WVU did in the BCS bowl last year, then we might have a better chance at landing talent like that. Right now, the SEC is in a different class than the Big East. Maybe the thing that makes the SEC better is that there really isnt a let-down game, except maybe for Vandy or Kentucky. Other than that, you are against UF, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, and South Caroline, week in and week out. There are no easy games in the SEC. Every week you are playing against the best talent in the nation..... I love my Bulls as much as the next guy, and I am by no means an SEC appologist, but the SEC is just a better, tougher, more talented conference.
  3. Duemig is the best thing on in the afternoon....Keck's show is a joke, and Dan Patrick is over at 4....What else is there to listen to?? USUALLY...his sources are pretty accurate, just sometimes, like when he said the Bucs were gonna get sold and moved, he is a little off...but the man is talented, and apparently he knows what people want.....
  4. Everyone should bring up USF Football and Trent Dilfer, Dooomeg's head might explode......
  5. Where is the Bulls Outfitter??? Is it on Fowler across from the mall?
  6. I like at the bottom of their thread how those unoriginal asses admit to stealing the idea when texas tech used it when they played them... Awesome.
  7. The majority of teams around the nation schedule a "tune-up" game the frist game of the season, ours just happens to be a 1-AA team. If you look around the country, most team play competition that is on a much lower playing field, unless you are playing in a nationally telivised game, because really, who wants to see UConn vs. Rhode Island, Virgina Tech vs. Northeastern, Kansas vs. Northwestern State or Colorado vs. Montana State.....Oh Wait....is it Colorado or Montana St. that is the 1-AA team????
  8. The top 25 would be 6 weeks away, at best. Lets worry about this weekend then USF before we look too terribly far ahead.
  9. Remember the days when we were excited when PJ came off the bench for Ronnie Banks..... Ohhh how things have changed, now we are just as excited for GrothE as we were for PJ.... Stick with Matt, PJ is done....
  10. Here are his high school stats........ Threw for 2700 yards and ran for 1,250 as a senior…33 passing touchdowns and 15 rushing touchdowns…Passed for 2,004 yards as a junior, along with 1,100 rushing yards…25 passing touchdowns as a junior and 14 more on the ground…. He's a mobile running QB....Let him run the **** ball!!!!!!!
  11. It isnt the acoustics of a pro stadium....Its the fact that the band is in the NE corner of the stadium, playing towards the west side of the stadium. Thats why you cant hear them. When that band was directly behind the goal posts in the north endzone in the student section, we were smaller and you could hear us outside of the stadium to the south side in the parking lot. It has to do with where and how the band is placed, not the stadiums design.
  12. Does anyone know where or if I can even find one of the new white nike USF jersys??? All I can find are the green ones.......
  13. Its really good to see HOT turn around from what is was a few years ago...... College marching band is supposed to be fun and somewhere along the line we lost that, but it looks like it has been found again. Good times.
  14. I guess they dont know about Hill being the starter... Whoops!
  15. Shouldn't it be: "Shed a tear, Rod Smith is here" ???????????
  16. the wings were good, but the service was not so good. it seemed like it was the girls first time seriving, which isnt a bad thing, if she had someone training her.
  17. What are the chances of bringing Mike Davis from IU here after the season? And, would that be a good pick to replace McCollum?
  18. The FSU/Duke refs were suspended by the ACC. Every conference has their own teams of referees.
  19. The women's softball is getting a new stadium, and it isnt going to be attached to the IM fields, either. I believe it is going to be built close to 50th and Fletcher, near the greek village, where those weird goth people have their sword fights on the weekend. Not that anyone that reads this will care very much, but USF is also going to build new IM softball fields. If anyone has every played on those, they know how crappy they are.
  20. Did anyone else find it odd that our schedule is 2 home games, 2 away games, 2 homes games, 2 away games, etc. I dont think I have ever seen that before.
  21. Maybe USF should invest in a new floor entirely. I dont know how many of you guys have been on the court, but there are a bunch of dead spots. Knowing where the dead spots are might be an advantage to USF, but it semms like it would be a disadvantage for both sides. It has been a few years since I've been on the court, but I don't think it is a "new" court, just a new paint job.
  22. Peyton was bad, but not as bad as BB. I think he is the only player that I have ever seen, get progressively crappier throughout his collegiate career. Usually someone either gets better, or they peak but BB went downhill. I thought he was going to be the "savior" of the program, and as a freshmen, he proved that he was a force, but then the wheels fell off one by one. That was almost surreal to watch.
  23. One of by buddies is the Band Director at Killian High School and he records the games so he can replay the halftime show for his band students.
  24. I hate agreeing with Smazzy, but Peyton couldn't catch a cold. It seems like he either dropped it going across the middle because he was scared, or he would try to get cute and catch it one handed down the sideline... I think McCollough is the biggest loss out of that group. He wa a heck of an athlete, and I expected big things out of him in the future. I think Sabbath Joseph will actually get better from this though, he will get a lot more game action, and that is what he needs. In the film I saw of him, he over-reacted on a lot of plays, and that will get him in trouble at this level.
