  1. I'm about 99% sure it was Joe at QB this past season. I distinctly remember that it was Joe, the QB, that broke his collarbone against Chamberlain in the first round of the state playoffs this year. When he was injured on the 2nd offensive possession, LOL's game plan when down the crapper.
  2. Last year, the two QB's in the spring game were PJ and Anthony Serevino. Courtney Dennison was supposed to start, but he sprained his ankle earlier in the spring and couldn't play.
  3. Joe, is the QB, he is the youngest. John is the LB/FB, he is the oldest brother, still at LOL.
  4. I think Weatherford from Land O' Lakes was only a Freshman or a Sophmore this past year. Steven Garcia from Jefferson isn't going to come to USF. When schools like USC(and I'm not talking about South Carolina) are interested when you are a Junior, You are pretty good. Unless USF wins the Big East then wins the BCS bowl, we aren't in the running for him. Don't get me wrong, I think USF will have a chance at again being in the running for the Big East Championship, but it will be an outside, and I mean really outside shot at getting Garcia.
  5. Is it me, or does the true liberal in smazzy come out when he has lost an arguement?
  6. How's C-USA treating you??? We're moving up, and you are moving...well, maybe C-USA isn't any sort of move, now is it?
  7. A lot of students go to the games so they can be "seen." I'm a student, I go to all of the games, and nobody around me know what the hell is going on most of the times. It is just a reason for a lot of kids to get drunk on Saturday nights. Also, why would you not want all of the co-eds to not attend the games? Even if they dont care about the games, it keeps people(males) from falling asleep against those thrillers against Tennessee Tech and FAMU. You gotta remember that those kids that dont know whats going on, make our attendance respectable because without them, there would only be about 25k in the stands.
  8. You can't open practice to recruits, in the Bay Area or anywhere else. It is against NCAA violations... I thought we were supposed to 'learn' from you?
  9. Does anyone know where to get an old school Jesse Salters USF jersey??? That would be a sweet ass addition to the BullsPen...Or to MY wall!
  10. If sideways means a bowl bid and a **** good chance at the Sugar Bowl, I'll take it every year...
  11. Alright smazzy, their ranking isn't as good as you might hope for, or want, but don't you think they filled needs with this years class? They needed LB's and they picked a few up, including Sabbath Joseph. I know you think he is too small, but seriously man, you dont think he will turn out to be a good, if not great outside LB? They needed some size and speed at WR and all three guys thay have comitted have run a 4.4 and are over 6'1.. They needed D-Linemen so they went out and got Frank Harry, who I thought you would love because he is a 4-star AND he is a JUCO player!! You need a QB, USF gets Alwan Lee, who is a hell of a QB. Yeah, he is undersized, but that didn't slow him from producing great numbers in high school down in Miami. C'mon man, I know you are all about being negative, but you should give the Bulls some credit, they have filled voids, even though those voids might not give them the national ranking that you are looking for.
  12. Evan Kraky is a crappy example to bring up. He couldnt keep his knee from exploding time and time again.
  13. I have to dissagree with you, PJ has become more efficent and a better overall passer. Yeah, he still misses reads constantl and his horrible touch on his passes, but if you look at him now compaired to the past 2 seasons, it is like night and day....
  14. Jeez...Sorry. You are correct, this was his first year as o-coordinator. Here's a suggestion though, don't be such a woman about things. I will try to be perfect, just for you, in the future but I cant promise anything. Smith was the QB coach and the passing game coordinator before becoming the offensive coordinator this year.
  15. This past year was actually Smith's 5th season... WHOOPS!
  16. I was in the B-Ball band for 4 years from 2000-2003 and the alumni do seem to "sit on their hands." For a long time, and for many games the only people that were fired up were the guys that sat behind the goal posts, next to the band. What I always found funny, what that the university would blast us band members for being loud and getting rowdy. There was this "little Italian guy" who would threaten to get us kicked out of the athletic band program. Yeah, there were times when we went a little overboard, like when we would wear brown paper bags on our heads to the women's game, but it gave the the crowd(less than 200, I know cause I counted), something to chuckle about. I think the university is at fault big time, by not getting people out to the games, students or otherwise. There is nothing on campus promoting the games and when is the last time you heard of anyone giving away USF Basketball tickets as a promo? I can't think of a time when they did that. That is just bad marketing. Back in the day(2000, '01) when bigger programs would come to town, shirts would be given away at the games. Does anyone remember 'Greenbergapolis.' I was there, drinking beer outside the SunDome every nite in anticipation to the upcoming games. Where is that now? Maybe if there was excitment surrounding the program, there will be excitment within the program.
  17. HOLY ****! I ACTUALLY AGREE WITH SMAZZA ON SOMETHING!!!!!!!! (cue the locusts....)
  18. I didn't go to Fenway for the crappers....I went to Fenway because was and is a baseball icon. I am not a Red Sox fan, but I wanted to experiance Fenway. Nobody that reads this can say they dont like the smell of old beer and peanuts that you get at those old stadiums. It isnt just Fenway either, that smell was at the Big Sombrero, it was at Freedom Hall in Louisville. ****, it was even at the Superdome, pre-Katrina. I don't really want to know what it smells like now though..Yuck.
  19. This is on ESPN.com's front page, under the women's bball section: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncw/columns/story?columnist=lieberman_nancy&id=2296299
  20. Ohh I know who you missed out on...Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas and Deion Sanders just to name a few. Don't forget who my beloved Bucs drafted in '89. Broderick "Effing" Thomas He did about as much for Tampa as 'The Roidster' did for you guys..
  21. He is lucky he had a day off...He must be tired after chucking up 46 shots...
  22. Dont forget Levitt's favorite RB, Moise Plancher...
  23. USF is 4-1 against the points spread though... There is the winning record you were looking for!
