I'm in another NCAA football community, where one of the mods wished that we get whatever we may ask for for Christmas. After I responded, "Already got my present... making those Purple Pirates our HO HO HO!" the mod (a Bama fan who lives down there) responded, "Yeah, Birmingham was COVERED with South Florida fans the other day. I made the mistake of being on the interstate right after the game was over... and I got caught up in the post-game traffic." WAY TO MAKE AN IMPACT!

Where are the free pizza vouchers? ???

I thought the moral of that story was "if you try and please everyone, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye"? ;D

Many thanks indeed--the fans who made the trip looked GREAT! I don't know what the actual ratios were, but the way they were shooting made it seem as though we had a larger and livelier crowd down in B'ham. Did anyone else notice that in the opening segment they showed Bulls fans, Bulls fans, Bulls fans, one old ECU fan in a funny hat, Bulls fans? It was great!

Yeah, but he'll be back and better than ever, and I think it's actually nice for Julmiste to have gotten to taste bowl victory at the end of his senior year.

funny, I've been hearing them ask on ESPN for a few days now whether #4 in the Green and Gold by the Bay would be returning...

it's kinda random but oh well: To those of you with BULLS car flags, do you fly 'em in adverse weather conditions? Part of me wants to say yes, Bull pride endures through it all, but the other part wants to treat it with a similar code of respect as the American flag (don't fly in rain or snow [though I don't mind flying it at night], don't let it touch the ground, etc.) Thoughts?

Don't you think it's really hard to convince the Big East to take a team from Fort Worth, Texas? I mean Fort Worth is closer to LA than NY... Pretty much what I was thinking... then again, St. Louis U., on the banks of the Mississippi River and gateway to the West, is in the Atlantic 10, so go figure.
