  1. those are comeing for them? Sweet! I applaud your efforts.
  2. Question for B&BH: When whatever team wins the Super Bowl, will they start selling those championship shirts as well? My guess would be no. If you won't do it against the Bucs, don't do it against the Bulls. "But there are lots of Gators fans in Tampa," come the retorts. Yes, but we live in relocation paradise, there's a critical mass of any team's fans here. Further, you are less likely to be repeating a market with ____ championship tees as than you are with Gators championship tees, so there may be even a greater potential for profit. And yet somehow, I get the feeling that they wouldn't do it. Again, if you wouldn't do it to the Bucs, don't do it to the Bulls.
  3. Way to counter their handjob. I was about to counter your assertion that they weren't the flagship until I went back and read that they are claiming to be the flagship of the United States. Wow. Did they have to get some ribs removed to bend like that?
  4. WVU is so monstrous, they're on twice and have completely obliterated Loovul! ;D
  5. Bleacher--Wish I could have caught you a little sooner, as I made a donation not long ago. Still, I'll check the books and see if I can put something together, especially since it's worth double my money to the HOT! I agree with Aging--we should be JUMPING on this! I know there are some out there who haven't donated--here's the perfect reason!
  6. What does that have to do with anything? Showing up at a Rays game in Sox/Yanks gear may be a problem, but I don't think it's a problem (other, perhaps, than fashion) at a completely different sport. Besides, I don't think the argument (at least mine isn't) is that Gators gear should be sold... just that it shouldn't be sold at a place called BULLS Heaven.
  7. if it were my business, i wouldn't be caught dead selling gaytor or nole crap in my store.  especially when the name of the store says Bucs n Bulls Heaven, no where does that imply gaytors Yeah right.  Until you start losing money.  At which point you would sell toilet paper if you could make money and stay in business.  Obviously, the bookstore is a totally different deal.  The bookstore is run by the university, and they don't need to make money.  The bookstore just needs to break even, and I doubt they pay rent.  That's comparing apples and oranges. I don't think that by any means is an absurd assertion. You say "yeah right", but there are business owners out there that honestly woulnd't be caught dead selling anything BUT Bulls gear, and they named their establishments accordingly. I don't have any problem with a store selling Gators merchandise, or even patronizing such a store. But the minute you make a bold assertion as to call yourself "Bucs and Bulls Heaven", you better stick to it. Not doing so is as absurd as the fact that the ACC conference store sells App State and ECU gear.
  8. On the one hand, they could have at the very least not worn our opponent's colors during that game. On the other hand, basketball is struggling mightily. Our Sun Dolls are bound for Nationals. Who was in the wrong here?
  9. Eh, I was there a few years ago in C-USA when we lost to the Ville by 45.
  10. Other tech schools (MIT, Georgia Tech) also have super-nerdy engineering related cheers. An example:
  11. I wanna go to Arkansas Tech and be a Wonder Boy!! Interestingly, we're one of 2 1/2 Bulls (Johnson C. Smith is the Golden Bulls) and I'm one of the ONLY Retrievers.
  12. WOW... ****, I think her error's as egregious as the rest, I'm sure, but I don't think it's worth hunting down her e-mail/myspace and bombing her over, or turning her into a stripper/whore or worse... seriously... she she eats doesn't make me $#!+...
  13. People have been talking about Tebow all day after last night's game. I've been quick to remind them that he's the 2nd best freshman QB in the state.
  14. Yes, but they're consecutive seasons, and more importantly, they will hold both at the same time.
  15. overratted... is that like an infestation of rodents or something?
  16. Just saw it myself. Could hurt the conference. But more importantly, it could hurt Loovul. i'll allow it.
  17. I hadn't put two and two together, the connection with USF and VT (then again, I wasn't around in the Greenberg days and i'm not too big on USF hoops). I'll be seeing VT play next week when they come down and play UNCG in the Coliseum.
  18. If that's the case, you'd have to take conference champs from all of the Bowl Subdivision conferences, not just the 6 BCS conferences. And if I may throw in a caveat: Consider that we only do conference champs. Had Wisconsin won one more game (the Michigan game, their only loss), They, at 12-0 go to the playoffs over The Ohio State at 12-0, as per the Big 'Leven's tiebreaker policy. That just doesn't seem right.
  19. A Wiki article on bulls in mythology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull_%28mythology%29 The first one I see is Nandi, the bull who serves as the steed of Shiva, a Hindu God (the supreme god in the form of Hinduism known as Shiavism)
  20. I think Mid Atlantic Bull works... you already made the change, no need to change again... plus it combines two things I love... the mid-Atlantic, and the Bulls!
  21. Richmond Gotcha. I consider that that south (not the deep south by any means but the south nonetheless) but I am obviously by no means the be-all end-all. I consider the mid-Atlantic the eastern seaboard corridor between DC and NYC (inclusive of DC metro, exclusive of NY metro, which is the Northeast)
  22. An excellent region to be in. 8-) Where'd you relocate to?
  23. Let's work on convincing the Glazers that Dallas is going to one-up them with the $1 billion stadium, have him run off and try and build a new one, and take over RayJay and paint it green. ;D
