I agree with you 100%...I am not a bucs fan, I actually can't stand the bucs due to most of the fairweather fans. I am fan of another NFL team from where I grew up, but its easy to miss a game of them because they have never done anything for me. If I miss a USF game I feel like crap, but USF also game me a degree that has opened a lot of doors for me.

The 1st viewing of College Game Day

I just had this discussion with a few people at work as I am wearing my USF jersey in and work with a handfull of UM freaks. Call me crazy, but I think if we face UM enough we will sneak a win in there. I don't see a lot of upside to facing UCF every yr, being its not a rivalry...

College all the way, the skill is much higher in the NFL, but there is much to be said for the passion in which the game is played college. Also, in college these are KIDS, most in there teens/early 20s, the level of emotions that go through your body at that age are much higher then that of someone in there late 20s/30s. College players are playing for something, a University that is going to give most of them an opportunity that they would never be able to have elsewhere. Lets face it most of college players don't come from the most affluent backgrounds, and they are playing to better their life situation and for those around them. The NFL offers none of that.

I am busting at the seem. This is my first year as a season ticket holder, prior I was working off the student ID since '99... Has anyone seen the movie Fevered Pitch? Anyway, I had to have a talk with my girlfriend the other night about "I'm a USF fan", she is slowly learning how much this is consumes my life.

She lives in Lutz, and I don't know if anyone has met her in person, but she is not that hot. She is an average looking girl with a good body, Florida schools are covered with them.

RUPP!! DII National Champs and in 5 seasons had a 215-80 (.729) record at UT including going 15-5 against DI schools!...Coached Team USA, and as turned Maryland around to a have a winning record over his 6 seasons in ACC play. Plus I know a lot of you keep mentioning Tino ties, well he played with Tino at UT and is good friends with him still. If we could get Terry, that would be the best hire in USF history.

I had an awesome time with my family, not only my immediate family but my extended Bull family. All we talked about on the ride home was what a blast we had. I wish I could have made it to New Years but drinking 4 beers before 9am I guess caught up to me. What a great weekend, and I thought our team showed a lot of heart, as well as the Bull faithfull that stayed after the game to continue to cheer for our team. I don't know about anyone else but I had goosebumps when I saw Andre break a few of those runs, I was praying he could take one to the house. But at the end of the game what a class act Andre was, standing in front of the tunnel pointing to the emblem on the helmet, and then pointing to his heart. I can't wait to see him playing on Sundays. On a side note I agree with namuh-bull, that I expected more out of NC State fans. I know we don't draw a lot for our home games, ext. but I know if we had a bowl game only a few hrs away we would have filled that place up.
