    Right now if the season started I would agree PJ should be the starter. But they still have summer pratices if Grothe has a great summer practice and PJ about the same I would start Grothe.

    I think he best serves the team as the backup qb. He has the game experience to help whoever the starting qb is, plus I think if he comes into a football game not as the starter he seems to not play as bad. Like the PSU game for instance.

    I was thinking the same thing. Just some tweeks to the current uniforms are needed I think.

    Sounds like Dexter can play some ball, hope the bulls sign him. This team would be loaded at rb. Get a decent qb and this team could be really really good in a year or two.

    This team is slowly getting better, we just have to be patient. Just think that two years or three years ago we would have been lucky to have one 3 games with this years schedule. Now if in 5 years we are playing at the same level, then we could have a problem.

    He played well for his first game vs a good quality team. Now if we could just give him some decent plays to run besides keeper to the left, right and middle.

    We have a terrible qb and almost beat a team after turning the ball over 5 times. If we lost to UConn with a good qb, then I would be worried about the teams direction. If we switched qb's with teams that beat us this year, I think we would have beaten all are teams this year. This team isn't that far from being a good team.

    I will be at the game cheering on the bulls. If this team has any pride they will come out fired up. We shall see I guess on sat night.

    Yeah the fact that we couldn't score really sucked but atleast we had one side of the ball that played well. We are just a OC, a qb and a wr or two that can catch from a team that could have been really really good this year.

    Maybe CJL is RS'ing Grothe cause he wants to go into the Swamp with a really good chance at winning that game?? Atleast thats what I like to think he has up his sleeve.

    That would have been much worse. We sucked that game up big time and still had a shot at winning that game, which is amazing.

    Well said. We all knew Pat was not a great qb and played the wing t at qb in HS. We use to be a team that thru the ball all over the field so why did we get a qb that played the wing t? Did CJL plan on running just andre and not worry about the part of the game that involved throwing the ball?

    It shouldn't take a Football Powerhouse to beat UCONN. I can understand the loss vs Penn and Miami and we had shots at both of them. But this is a game a team on the rise should have won.
