    Maybe somebody needs to tell Doug you give an extension when you do well and want to keep the coach longer not just for being at the program. I would love to have Doug as my boss.... do a bad job at work and I get a nice raise.

    I would agree with that. He is to buddy buddy with his staff and has kept coaches around that will eventually cost him his job and his friends jobs. I wish he brought the D coordinator he had at ECU can't recall the name but alot of ECU fans say he was the reason they won CUSA not Holtz.

    Doug has not been that bad... our facilities are nice lots of upgrades and most of the sports programs are doing well. But football the main bread and butter is doing terrible.... might be time for a AD with more football experience.

    He took CJLs players and had a decent year then crapped the bed and its really starting to stink. Hope he gets fired end of this season. Thats our only hope to get this turned around.

    Rutgers and a pathetic big east owns our sorry football team....how pathetic is usf football. Be glad we don't play FIU, FAU or UCF this year they would all beat us most likely.

    Cut our losses at the end of the year and look for somebody else. Somebody with contacts in the state of florida. He is killing the program.

    we had some pretty rough times in the CJL years too. But in 2012 it is a different landscape then it is was in 1997. atleast we don't have any Brian Fishers on the team. It is no secret that Leavitt built his team on non-qualifiers and second and third chance guys. these are players that Skip Holtz won't touch with a 10 ft pole Yes he loads up on walkons from jesuit

    I was anti Leavitt near the last few years and thought he took the program as far as he could take it but Holtz is much worse and took the program further back. This program is worse since he has took over and he needs to go at the end of this year. Only way he should stay is if we turn it around and win big east but we have not a shot in hell for that to happen. This team is mentally soft like the head coach.

    Ready also to move on…. lets look at it, they had 90+ plays less than a week ago at a high elevation that’s way to much for a NFL defense let alone a college defense. They made a lot of bone head mistakes and so did RU but they were in this game to the end despite BJ turning the ball over 3 times…also I think RU has a good defense so its not like they were going to be an easy game. I don’t think we are that bad a team and hopefully they can rebound and trounce Ball State and then get ready to play a very tough FSU team.

    Yes. Yes. Yes. Admins can close this thread now. No no no.... whats the point of playing a game? To win. USF didn't pay millions to Holtz to teach a bunch of athletes about teamwork and working together. Sure they learn that while on the team but the main reason he was brought in was to win football games. Now you can close the thread.

    I would agree with your post. I don't think we gameplan the team looks like they show up and play the game and just stick with the few plays they run. Fitch is garbage... I could call better plays and for alot less money.

    As long as we have BJ we will not win big east....this team isn't good enough to make up for the bad plays BJ makes. Can only hope that AW is as good as he looks to be and still commits to USF. How can bobby eveld really be worse than bj he won us the game at miami 2 years ago....these coaches haven't developed him any since then?
