  1. Based on? Who knows , I don't think a lot of this squad will be big players when it comes to the make or break of COA. He's recruiting hard for a reason.
  2. Re: running the spread. It's not like the guy hasn't seen it before. Who knows if it will work.
  3. True, they haven't proven themselves in the W/L columns, but it's pretty clear they both bring the swagger Compared to Stan and Doug (and Skip), who were all nice guys, but no swagger Please. Every new hire gets the nice polished apple treatment until they fall through
  4. Are we still NIT-worthy? No. Okay. Relax and let COA build a program. The fast start fooled some on here.
  5. This separation of powers is bad. A coach says no thanks to Houston for a coordinator job...
  6. A school like Florida will probably pay a guy like Robinson more as a position coach than we will as a coordinator. Hopefully we're done hiring guys who are on the couch right bow(Bresnahan and Wulff)
  7. We were starting a wife receiver at CB. It wasn't going to be good.
  8. Wulff was a horrific hire, even before he called a play.
  9. This rumor was not mentioned in Tierra de Reyes
  10. I think the show was USF related, but couldn't tell because the only English word that was said was "no".
  11. It's Harlan, and he does read them regularly. I know you aren't used to that kind of open line communication coming from an AD since we were stuck with Woolard for so long, but I know he reads them, and I know he personally answers them on his phone. I have been in front of him when he's done it. Working in intercollegiate sports, I can tell you most AD/Coach twitter feeds are run (for the majority) by an assistant and/or intern. I'm not buying its always Harlan, nor am I buying that he reads all the tweets
  12. If you think Harlan even looks at Twitter regularly you're a fool. He probably has an intern or staff assistant that does everything.
  13. 2 years ago a lot of people would have eaten these type of quotes up, much like they did when Skip started. And now with COA. My point is this, good or bad, who cares. Anyone jumping on Willie for answering questions with coach speak is acting irrationally.
  14. (1) I seriously doubt Harlan is canning a guy who has been coach for two years, no matter how bad he's been (2) This was the offense a good portion of the board wanted going back to the days of Rod Smith. (3) I expect a "Muschamp ultimatum" to change things up a bit, and for the offense to be revamped.
  15. Most will renew. I think the season ticket base is as depleted as it's going to get. I'd be shocked of it was around 10,000 next fall.
  16. Taggart needs at least one, if not 2, more years. Bowl eligibility was a pipe dream this year, next year it should be the goal
  17. A lot is execution, but something has to come from the offensive playcalling, it is way to predictable.
  18. Or we have qb's who haven't taken the Bull by the horns when given the opportunity ... The play calling has been horrific for any QB bad, good, or great. We rarely toss the rock on non-obvious passing downs. It puts the guys in tough situations and inflated pass rushes.
  19. I hated that campaign, I thought it was tacky and really put things in a cartoony light. That being said, anyone calling for Willie's head is nuts. Dude stepped into a bad program, and while he certainly hasn't done much to turn it around he deserves 3 years if not 4 to get things going.
  20. I think COA was a great hire and will do wonders for this program, but let's ease off the pedal some as to where this team is.
  21. Some of our fan base can take a small win and/or close "moral victory" and make it a banner to put in the rafters. Can we just calm down, both RMC and CSH played games like this. I still love the hire, but...
  22. I love the enthusiasm, but I don't see it. I'd love to be proved wrong though. Yeah, this team's issue was never not being able to hang, it was finishing.
  23. Quit looking at the box score. The offense was awful outside of a handful of plays.
  24. This offense is terrible, and to make things worse they gave us the pass. Time to drop the power run and hit the spread, do something. I like Taggart. I like what he's about. His results have been poor. I don't want to see him fail.
  25. We played like this against these teams with Stan. Let's see how we do Against a real opponent first.
