  1. Led No. 11 UF 2 sets to 1 but, predictably, couldn’t finish the deal. A positive, however, that they were competitive. First time they’ve taken 2 sets from the Gators in 33 years.
  2. How long was he “committed” - a week? As soon as a bigger offer came around . . .
  3. Moreso than the result, I’m excited to see what this team looks like in the opener. Have we ever gone into a season with a team that’s a bigger mystery than this one (maybe the first one)? A head coach who’s never coached a game, an almost complete roster turnover, an offensive scheme we’ve never seen in action and an unknown starter at QB, hopefully a totally new approach on defense? I can’t remember going into an opener and knowing less about a USF team than this one. More than anything, I want to see a team that flys around and plays with energy and an attitude. We used to have that and it seems like it’s been missing for too long. Play with a big chip! Go Bulls!

  7. He’s definitely a depth piece on the interior, but looks like he was also talking to Saint Louis, Tulsa and St. Peter’s. He made a visit to Kennesaw last year, so Coach knows him. Has 3 years of eligibility and looks long and athletic. Raw and will need to get stronger to be a factor, but I guess he can steal us some minutes in the post this year at 6-10. Watched his highlight tape - not bad - but shows him making 3 three-point shots, which must have been his only 3 on the season. I think he shot about 16% from three. Played at a JUCO in California but looks like he is originally from Atlanta.
  8. Looks like he’s an immediate add from JUCO
  9. Not sure if this is for next year or an immediate add to replace Ewin.
  10. We’re going to miss Coach Denise. That’s a tough loss. She’s done a great job with that program, keeping them competitive every year.
  11. Even better - the women won their season opener on the road at LSU, 1-0.
  12. Not to overestimate, but the Bulls came out of the gate strong with three exhibition wins, including 6-1 vs. UTampa and 2-zip tonight. Hopefully they’re ready to build on last season.
  13. Just an exhibition, but 2-0 win for the good guys tonight vs. Oviedo CC in men’s soccer.

  17. If Coach Go goes with GB, that’s the first sign to me that there’s no guarantee he’s the guy to lead us out of this. The QB needs to distribute the ball so guys can make plays and value the football, and in his brief time on the field last season, BB showed the best awareness of that and consistent accuracy with the football that I can remember since Marquel Blackwell.
  18. No website, just a Facebook page and a YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@brigadesrq9225
  19. Thanks, buddy! I’m having fun with it!
  20. This is REALLY hard, but for hoops I have to go with Fred Lewis. He was so consistent and valuable on those Radenko-led NCAA Tournament teams. Football? Wow! So hard. How about Taurus Johnson? That guy made A LOT of plays for us but never seemed to get a whole lot of recognition.
  21. He was definitely really solid for us, but he did have a BIG momentum-changing fumble in the game against UF during the Holtz New Era.
