We lack an indoor practice facility that seems to be the trend, UCF has one, FSU is getting one, UF no, UM no space for one, USF maybe. Heck Louisville has one. Otherwise our facilities are top notch.
This trend coincides with CLH coming in. CJL was a defense first coach who consistently placed his best athletes on defense and this is evident by the players we've placed into the NFL that are mostly defensive players. Just look at T-Rex (a hearlded CB) being shifted to receiver by CLH this probably would not have happened under CJL. Snyder was a "bend don't break" type coach and Cosh was said to have been even less aggressive when characterized before he came in and I think all would agree he's not aggressive in attacking the football. CJL's teams simply had OC problems. CLH philosophy was supposed to outscore the opposition that hasn't worked out very well.
Some great memories have been mentioned who can forget that first big upset win orchestrated by Blackwell @ Pitt however for me Auburn stands out therefore Grothe gets my vote.
While not a particular fan of the Knights I must say that was fitting that you guys won your last game in the old Tangerine Bowl. Based on history though I hope you're new digs will be finished on time for the Texas barbeque.
