  1. Welp there’s very little room for error in shootouts like this. Until we get a solid defense we can’t expect to win these games.
  2. This is the most points that Memphis has allowed all season. Unfortunately it may also be the most points we have allowed all season.
  3. Didn’t know Charlotte’s defense was that good. We gotta go all out for that game— might be fighting for a postseason.
  4. I’m talking more so about articles that push strongly for a rivalry with FAU or pieces against our on-campus stadium. They do cover the Bulls and I appreciate it, but they don’t treat them like the hometown team— they’d much rather be writing about the Gators and the Noles, and they make it clear.
  5. Well if he comes over once a week and sets your lawn on fire and spits in your face, I think you still have the right to complain about him.
  6. Just beat Florida State please… That would be huge for our relevance.
  7. Someone on Twitter claimed this was a leaked rendering. Is this real or is it a joke I’m too stupid to understand?
  8. Physical paper came today. I see an article in the sports section for UF (who didn’t play this week) and ucf (who isn’t even in Tampa, and who lost). Am I missing something again? I don’t see anything about the Bulls W in the physical newspaper
  9. Happy birthday to the late Lee Roy Selmon. Wonder what he would think of the program these past few years. I’ve only got one more football season as a student, but I believe in Golesh to turn this ship around
  10. Found this massive encyclopedia of college football teams at the local library. Naturally I flipped to USF, and was disappointed to see they got this information wrong about us.
  11. If we win, UConn has to rejoin the AAC and bring some name brand recognition to the conference. If we lose, we mail them our indoor practice facility, one piece at a time.
  12. This is reported attendance vs actual so take it with a grain of salt
  13. Not as far as I know— I arrived about 90 minutes early to the Alabama game and had no problem with parking.
  14. Yeah absolutely— it isn’t our fault they weren’t prepared to accommodate the number of students who showed up. Given the 56-14 loss to FAU though, I have a feeling there will be plenty of parking at the last two home games
  15. I appreciate that— I will do my best to tell student government or whoever I can get ahold of. I missed about half of the first quarter (luckily nothing good) but I’m sure some other students just went home when they found out parking wasn’t free. I feel worse for the alumni who spent time and money coming back to the game (some of whom had to fly back to Tampa) just to see the team perform like that, but that’s a separate conversation!
  16. My blood still boils thinking about all the students who dressed up in blue and orange to watch us take on the Gators last year
  17. Just wanted to mention here that I am a diehard student. I’m at every game, win or lose, but I have a complaint. I got there yesterday 15 minutes early (worked overnight the night before so I slept in late Sat) and I was turned away from the student parking lot and sent to Lot 2. I got to Lot 2 and showed my student ID. They told me that they know the student lot is full, but that they couldn’t take free parking there. They were charging students full price, and a lot of us were doing U-Turns and leaving. I wasn’t about to pay $30 for parking (that’s a lot for a broke college student) so I parked at Al Lopez Park and walked in 20 minutes late. USF, your students need to be able to park at games if you want us to show up. I am always going to go to games but this could be too much BS for casual student fans who were barely willing to show up anyway.
  18. I imagine it would be harder on the non-football programs at USF than football, but what’s stopping us from trying to go independent in football and AAC in everything else? Navy is only a conference member for football, and Wichita State doesn’t sponsor a football program so they just do the other sports. I agree that we should be playing as many relevant teams as possible. Better for recruiting too, I imagine.
  19. Plenty of casual sports fans know and recognize the USF logo, even outside of Florida. We are a good academic institution and still have some shreds of relevancy in athletics. I had never heard of some of these schools until they joined the conference.
