    Beginning to think we should just go independent. Our brand is more valuable than UNT, UAB, FAU, etc. but it’s being brought down every day that we are in this conference.

    Would love to face Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl. They needed SEC help to beat Jeff Scott’s team last year in the Swamp… that game still hurts to think about.

    Yeah I noticed that too, hugely disappointed with actual student turnout. Lot of students reselling their tickets (or trying to) on social media— maybe the Alabama game stirred that up?

    I’m interested! If anyone else wants them though, they can have first priority. I’m a student but the student section is sold out so I can’t claim my student/guest tickets.

    My mom has a physical paper subscription and last week she sent me a picture of their article, something along the lines of “Alabama losing in week 2 won’t bode well for USF.” She doesn’t even follow sports but she was surprised they’d write an article like that. Today, I went over and looked at the paper. FSU got an article for beating unranked Boston College by 2, and Missouri got an article for upsetting K-State. That’s it. Wtf Tampa Bay Times?? How about the unranked hometown team that was tied with Alabama until the 3rd quarter? The team that was supposed to be a “practice game” for Nick Saban but ended up taking years off his life? The team in your backyard??

    UTSA and ECU were both playing FBS opponents. Florida A&M is in-state to be fair, but we had the highest crowd against an FCS opponent in the conference. Go Bulls!

    Here is a link to the rankings. On paper, our talent outranks 10 of our 12 opponents (only Alabama and Memphis have us beat, and the latter isn’t far ahead.) This is a huge jump from last year, when our talent outranked just 6 of our 12 opponents.

    Just got notified that campus is shut down tomorrow and Wednesday. Not sure if that applies to athletic practices / using the IPF though.
