  1. Give the ball to DJ. We need to use him as a fullback...or actually use our fullback. I think we have one on the team lol
  2. lol hopefully they give him some more runs. I think Tice's value is that he was a power runner and kind of beat up the defensive line. That's temple game made me realize the importance of a fullback.
  3. All we have to do is keep Navy under 30 pts and we should be ok lol
  4. Yes, I was referring to my personal positive outlook. Im not going to call it a losing season. I'm going to wish 4 the best and if they lose then, think positive for the next game. Either way, the future for USF looks pretty awesome. I like th kids we got coming and and that have red shirted this year.
  5. At this point we need a bowl win and I don't care from whom. If we get in the St. pete bowl, unlike previous yeas we actually play a P5 or worse case scenario Western Michigan who I don't mind playing and beating the MAC's best team and should still be a ranked team.
  6. 1) The winning team- USF2) The final score- 47 - 21 (USF is pissed off and will come out dominating on both ends) 3) Bulls leading rusher - Mack 150 yards4) Bulls leading receiver - Adams - 200 yards5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over) - 450 yards I want my mug maaan (In my Chris Tucker voice)
  7. Well Snarling bull we shall see how this season pans out. I believe we can still win out IF we fix the defense. But Im nit going to s*** on my team after 1 conference loss. Ohio State lost to an unranked PENN, Houston loss to an unranked SMU.. wtf makes you think USF is too good to lose a game? Teams lose, thats a part of the game. We are 6-2 with 5 games left. Im going to stay positive and keep my green and gold goggles on. Positive thoughts brings in positive energy.
  8. lol Uf he was the USF coach there would of been a post already.
  9. Um.....there are 5 games left this season and we are 6 wins and and only ONE conference loss. The most games USF has ever won is 9 games. We have 5 games left with 6 wins already. Life goes on. Too much crying. Let the season play out.
  10. I agree with this post. Im judt going to enjoy the season and support the team. This year we was worried about the Offensive live, but they are kicking ass this year. Defensive end was suppose to be out strength but is not. We still have Tramal Ivy and the other Juco guy joining the team. Eventually the right players will get thier opportunity to take USF to the next level. Im happy at USF direction. So I can live with our FIRST conference loss. We are 6-1 with 4 games left. 5 if you count out bowl game. So we have 5 chances at a 10 win season. Hell we only need 3 wins to tie our winningest sean which was 2007. Just let the year play out maaaan.
  11. Grothes/Daniels had good teams but couldnt win on Thursdays, Fridays, Oct, Nov, and Dec. And never webt past 8-5. Who da ***** are you critisizing? Offense still blows yours away, but the defense sucks. You didnt play defense buddy. You and Daniels were USF's weak link back then so shut it
  12. Well last year we beat Temple and they went to the championship game. We just have to lick our chops and move on to the next game.
  13. I think people will start coming as soon as we slay a few Giants. Unfortunately we do not have any on our schedule next year, but winning the AAC, getting into a good bowl game and winning will definitely brig the people back to the stands. I have faith that the games will be crowded again. I think USF fans are like a hurt female that has been heartbroken too many times. Once USF shows consistency then all will change.
  14. This write like many people forget is that Taggart was bor and raised in the Tampa Area. Payed Highschool football. He probably sat here and watched UF, FSU and UM become powerhouses and wished that Tampa had a powerhouse college team. Now he has a chance to make his own legacy just like Spurrier, Bowden and Schnellenberg. If he can bring USF to be the official 4th power house in Florida, that is a feat that is comparable to a National title. Whatever choice he picks, he will get money, but to make it officially the "Big 4" is a lasting legacy.
  15. lol How many coaches you know was born and raised in the city they coach for? He watched UM, UF, and FSU become power houses. He has that Florida pride that most of use raised here has.
  16. What we know about Taggart : 1. He has a lot of hometown pride 2. he played football and was raised in the Tampa Area 3. he has a lot of love for USF What we have no proof of: 1. He is driven by money 2. He is willing to jump to the first P5 offer How so many came to the conclusion that he will bail on USF I have no idea.
  17. I can see us losing a few receivers for lack of playing time.
  18. To be honest, I just don’t see Taggart leaving. I thinks he simply has a lot of hometown pride. Most coaches might have went to the college they coach at, but most weren't raised in the city they coach. Plus he is building a new house in the Tampa area. Being able to bring USF to the level of UF, UM and FSU is a much greater accomplishment then simply coaching at a P5 school offering more money. Taggart, like myself, has seen UM, FSU and UF become national power houses during the 80's and 90's and I feel he truly wants to bring USF to that level like Schnellenberger, Bowden, and Spurrier did 4 their schools. Why jump on somebody else’s legacy if you can make your own? The money will be there if he keeps on winning and Charlie Strong is a perfect example of the grass not being greener on the other side. Not too mention, Les Miles was making 3 mil per year at LSU. I think USF can afford to hold onto Taggart who is making close to 2 mil a year already.
  19. I know we have a recruit section, but daaaamn this dudes highlights are sick! Emare Hogan stated that he's not going nowhere and loves USF. I love the part of the highlights is how he makes long runs simply from short passes. Knock on wood that I don't jinx anything, but the future looks freakin awesome for USF. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3046219/57e92a2d5caa592b28133369
  20. I think we need a true Stryker like Jamie Bird. He **** near led the team in tackles from that position. Plus he was a hard hitter who's aggressiveness the defense fed off of. I don't even know who's at that position this year. He was the heart of our defense. Auggie Sanchez is the brain, but not the heart. We need that emotional leader. I think Tramal Ivy will solve a lot of our defensive issues next year. It's a shame he couldn't join the team this year.
  21. This comment right here should be the one to close out this unecessary discusion. When i went to UF in 95', we were known for running up the score and proud of it. If you dont want somebody to run up the score stop them.
  22. USF just has to keep winning, get ranked and win the aac. Its been years of so many let downs. Finish strong, get ranked early next year and fly though an easy schedule next year. Followed by Brett Kean taking the helm. We are garunteed to be good the next 3-4 years. The fans will come.
