  1. Fizzled out? His last season at Alabama had a 5 game improvement and they went to the 2nd round of the NIT. He got fired with a winning record and after going to the post season. Out of 9 seasons, he went to the post season 7 times including the year he got let go. He is still young and a great Florida recruiter. Adding the NBA to his resume can only help him recruit better.
  2. Just like my Charlie Strong post, that helped speak it to existence, I shall do the same for Anthony Grant. There is no other candidate that is a better fit for this job. Was successful as an assistant coach when UF had back to back championships....something that is rarely done. Has NBA coaching experience now. So let's quit Bullsh***ng (no pun intended) and hire buddy so he can start recruiting for next year. He's interview for USF head coaching position like twice and we need to simply hire this man and pay him well. End of story!!!! Now that I have spoken it into existence somehow it shall happen! Have a good day my friends. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Grant#Head_coaching_record
  3. Bruh....this is just a wishful thinking hater post. I've been following their blogs and the fans, staff and boosters are in love with Taggart. Their recruiting class has gone up a few notches in the rankings and he has hired an all star staff. So far he is kickin ass over there and they seem to love his energy. In the end, he left us a great team and put us in a position to land Charlie Strong. Let's be happy for the man, stop being a bitter ex-girlfriend and move on.
  4. Weist will probably end up on PJ Fleck staff in Minesota.
  5. USF should probably start the season ranked #18. WMU plays USC and Michigan State next year, so they won't be ranked for long. The only G6 team we have to worry about is Boise State. But NYE bowl is a good goal for us.
  6. I think the only job he leaves us for would be UF at this point and I don't see their coach going away anytime soon. He is 50 years old. Nobody want to keep moving around like that. Plus, Texas contract plus his USF contract has made this man rich so it won't be a money issue to stay. USF is a perfect fit for him to have success,
  7. We need Anthony Grant. That is who the basketball gods needs to give us. Our current interim coach was part of the staff that got fired so not sure what difference he will make.
  8. Anthony has had waaaay more success than Heath. But if u feek they are the same then cool. But he would definitely change the program for the better
  9. I’m trying to understand how you can dismiss a man w/o doing any type of research. As an assistant coach, he has 2 national titles and countless NCAA Tournament appearance in which the Gators at least made at least the sweet 16. Head Coach – At VCU he went 76-25 and made two NCAA tournament appearances. The Rams knocked off Duke in the first round in 2007. At Alabama he was there for six seasons, for a total record of 117-85, winning at least 20 games three times and making an NCAA tournament appearance in 2012. He also led Alabama to three NIT appearances.
  10. Former Gator Assistant - Anthony Grant is my top choice. He did well at VCU, but bad at Alabama, and falls under Billy Donovan's tree. He is currently an assistant coach for the OKC Thunder.
  11. I say Keith Askins. He's been an assistant with the Miami Heat for over a decade. I liked him as a player and assistant coach. He needs to leave the NBA and come coach as USF. Tampa has beaches too! lol
  12. He'll be ok. At UF,both assistants from Billy Donovan's championship teams landed coaching gigs and failed, but life went on and they found good assistant jobs. Antiqua was just dealt a very unlucky hands. To b honest, he just started getting decent players.
  13. I think everybody is more worried about the pants lol after the comments i google "Bob Diaco pants" and it gets a lot of hate lol
  14. Well we don't have red in our colors so the worst he can do is wear some shiny gold pants and I dont think he will take it that far lol
  15. I think UCONN owes him 3.4 mil. Maybe he needs a place to sit at for 2-3 years and build his name back up.
  16. lol He is a pretty boy but he played linebacker in college. He cant be that soft.
  17. Could be another great coach with a low price tag. Not sure if it would be a clash of egos. Im just putting it out there. It would be funny though. http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/bob_diaco_880857.html
  18. With an interim coach....you know since our head coach left us...but carry on.
  19. All summer and preseason we questioned the offensive line and that would be our weakest link. Well out running game got better and Flowers barely got sacked. I wanted 2 give this man at least 1 post 4 the season. I hope he and King stays. Weist would be nice, but Hiller should be a priority.
