We had a 3-0 lead but blew it and lost 7-3 to FSU. Better than 24-1

Our revenue sports have gone through quite a few coaches recently. Football we got rid of leavitt and hired Holtz then fired him 3 years later. Then we hired Taggart who is entering year 3 and possibly his last depending on how the team does. Basketball had heath for 7 years but 5 of those were losing seasons and now has a HC and completely new staff that needs time to get their people and system in place. Let's give the revenue sports 5-8 years of the same staff and see what they do before pushing the panic button. I believe Antigua will turn the basketball into a successful team once he can get his guys in and get them accustomed to his system. As far as football goes Harlan will get the right guy to turn that around whether that would be Taggart or someone else. I think the administration sees whatvis happening as a wake up call and will get the revenue sports turned around and to a point where we will start kicking butt and become a powerhouse in both academics and athletics.

Would this free up a scholarship for 2015 and his would count for 2016 or would he count toward 2015

The AAC tourney is set. We will not have to face ECU again but they will have to face UCONN in the quarters if they make it that far. It looks like we will play Memphis first then Tulsa before a finals rematch with uconn http://theamerican.org/sports/2014/10/9/WBB_1009140842.aspx

None of our starters we are only losing 2 bench players but we still won't be anywhere near the level of uconn. You could take the best players from every top 16 team outside uconn put them on 1 team and uconn would still beat them. They are that good

I always viewed this year as a year for Antigua to figure out what he has and what he needs to get in terms of recruiting. We should be a little bit better but I'm not expecting a tourney run till year 3. We need to find a scoring threat along with a pg that will attack and get the other teammates involved. We will see what peters can do next season but AC has shown to be not a threat from outside and tries too much to pass the ball instead of taking the game over

USF women's basketball is really separating itself from the rest of the conference to be an annual contender with UCONN. Unfortunately with UCONN in the conference, it's unlikely we'll ever win the conference but doesn't mean we can't dominate along side of them. Next season will be fantastic and I think we should start off in the Top 25 if we have a good showing in the tournament this season or quickly get in after a week or two. With Courtney and Alisia coming back along with all of the up and comers, we should have the best team we have ever had. The only way I could see us beating Uconn is to clone Courtney 3 times and find 2 Britney griners. Then we could beat them or wait till geno retires then we might get some conference titles
