    With the talent we have we could make it to a bowl without any coaches. Maybe we should ban the coaches for 1 game and let the players run their own plays

    It should be obvious that Taggart hates Bench which is why he only will play Flowers even when the game is out of reach. Let's hope for AW sake we have a new head coach next year that can develop a QB otherwise AW could turn into a bust with Taggart coaching as he has proven that he can not coach a QB

    I'd say they fire him tonight if he loses but then i just remembered he is the AD so they won't fire him anytime soon

    Holtz and Taggart are not top level D1 coaches. They are better suited for CUSA, Sunbelt, etc but not for the american, mw, or p5 conference. And as far as the players, Taggart brings them in and sets the tone for them so it sounds like he is soft and does not institute discipline onto the players or the players have no fear of him so they don't care

    Here are some statistics on Taggart's tenure here when USF scores first we are 3-6 and when the other team scores first we are 4-14. Numbers like this point to a bad coach

    Most likely after the ucf game as we won't have any other bye weeks for the rest of the season and we won't be playing in the AAC title game

    Too bad we don't have coach Boone or he'd be running miles after practice for dropped passes along with Bronson for drops and penalties that killed momentum and/or drives

    Flowers will leave once Taggart is canned so if AW is all everyone says he is he should be the starter for the new coach unless the new coach brings in a big name juco qb

    Taggart has 2 years remaining unless Harlan gives him an extension which he better not or he will be on the wrong side of the fans THere is no chance of that happening without big turn around. This is why we fired the worst AD in history of college athletics! Let's just hope Harlan doesn't do it but I'd agree I don't think Harlan would but u just don't know if Harlan would fall for a trap like that

    Kicker is only .01% of our problems. The remaining 99.99% is the qb, offense, and defense with 90% being on the offense/qb

    The biggest question is if nothing changes and the team has shown no improvement by the end of the year and Harlan gives taggart a year 4, how many fans will show up or even buy tickets next year. I'd guess very few and the only game where we might get 50k people to is fsu but 90% of the fans would be fsu fans so it would basically be a home game for them

    If Harlan is smart he will go with either a P5 oc or head coach or butch Davis but no more sun belt/cusa/G5 coaches

    You don't fire him now. Harlan should can him at the end of the year if indeed the team tanks. We need to have an orderly transition and not layer chaos on top of chaos but making an emotional decision now. Bu if you can hire a butch Davis type coach now before other teams get in the mix why wait? Is Davis contracted with anyone now? Davis is not contracted by anyone at the moment so he could theoretically start tomorrow if he wanted to. Plus he has said multiple times he would live to coach at Usf so it could be a possibility

    Taggart just wanted to set up bench to fail. Now he can bench Bench and let Flowers take sacks on 4th down or throw bad balls all game. I think Taggart wants to get fired just to get a paycheck for nothing

    We might be lucky to get 4 wins with the way we have played in the last 2 games. also Willie will need 6 to be brought back as it looks like Harlan and Willie are not on good terms after the ybor situation and lack of progress with the team

    The first td was really a running play but counted as a pass so the reality is flowers had 0 td and 1 pic but it will go down as a 1 and 1
