BTW maybe if the Rays weren't showering in Avion they could afford their players. ;D

How bout we spend some money on an outdoor stadium and moving them into Tampa. I never felt more "not" at a baseball game than I do when I am at a Devil Rays game. Boring, empty and dull. I dont know anything about these prospects they got but Lugo on the Dodgers doesnt make sense with Furcal at short. Are they going to play him at 2nd for an injured Jeff Kent? They are the reason the Mets do not have a setup man and may not win the Series this year.

Too much money from teams like the Yanks, Sox, and even the Jays. NEVER.

How did the Bucs do when they finished in last place every year?Yeah, but imagine if the Bucs had played in St. Pete...That would have been far worse.in 1996, the bucs home attendance was probably around 40-45K, which is very poor.I think the rays could average 25K or more playing in Tampa in a brand new stadium...but the most important thing is winning....The D Rays will never be able to compete in the new AL East.  Too much money from teams like the Yanks, Sox, and even the Jays.  NEVERif the rays were willing to spend money the way the yanks and sox do, then they could WIN the AL EAST... If the Rays spent that kind of cash they would be out of business.
